"And one for the base closer to the moon," she added as she looked at her friend Constantine. "Rock Star, I think I know where we're going, unless Scott says otherwise."
{{Nathan, I know this could all go boots up very fast, but we all know they'd have no chance if I don't go there}} Kari said telepathically to Cable as she turned to look at Cyclops. {{And I am not sure about dropping your news about Saber on everyone until it's a done deal. Your call}}
There was too damned much about these missions that could go wrong. Genosha and the Orchis base alone could be death traps beyond measure. Add the space mission to it, and all bets were likely off.
John was being uncharacteristically quiet. That was a very bad sign. "Spill, John."
"Just not a fan of Genosha. Lost a few friends there," he muttered. "But Cassidy is right. It has to be the fallback point. And we may need a chronomage to get Ahab's victims back to where they belong. That ain't me, petal, and it sure as hell ain't you."
"Let's defeat the bastard first," Kari said to her old friend. "Then we can unspool what he did."

Through it all, Marcela kept quiet as she listened to the plans ahead and how the teams were going to be formed, and she knew why Cyclops called her over. Althena was always one of the more powerful magic users they had around, so their plans needing mystics meant that she would be needed, at least her past self would be needed.
"Put me where you think I'm good," Marcella said to the others as they discussed their plans. Her flashes of the old Althena wouldn't help her with their strategies, and she figured that her current grasp of Althena's powers meant that she wouldn't be as useful in that regard. The last thing she wanted to do would be crucial in some escape plan and needing to borrow the magic from someone else to pull it off. "I'm more suited to smashing things than the version of Althena you're all familiar with though."

Logan paused from eating his pie and turned his attention to his wife, “You okay Darlin?. Everything
has been moving so damn fast I just want to take the time to know how you are doing?.” Logan slid
his hand over and took a hold of her hand that was closest to him.. “It has been a lot I know and not
having Seth and Gabby here is upsetting.. I love you and we will get through this and then we can
worry about all the trouble that Seth and Gabby will be getting into..” Logan chuckled.. "I know Nate won't hurt anyone," Cair started to say to Logan as she poked at the burger on her plate with her free hand, "not intentionally anyway. It's just the scope of what he did. Glynis was on some dig God knows where, and Maggie was over in the Vatican training more of her secret warrior sisters. It just blows my mind that Nate had enough power to pull it all off. And it makes me wonder what damned puzzle piece I'm missing, because as far as we all knew, we weren't mutants. Not me. Not my sisters. And Jack? I have no clue about my baby brother anymore. He's been super quiet. With me, I mean. It just feels off."
Cair stopped playing with her food and reached for both of Logan's hands as everyone talked about what was to come. "I'll go wherever you go. Then we need to get my siblings to Krakoa. I think we need Hank to figure this out once and for all. If the Witchblade changed me, I get that. And Glynis had that crazy thing interact with her so damned long ago I forgot about it until now. The one that made her all freaky blue and spiked with points? Belatucadros. The god the lower military ranks worshipped in northern parts of the UK. And Maggie? I have no idea, but she got sliced a few times by demon weapons. I'm reaching. I'm scared."

{Nothing good comes out of Genosha.. I have to admit that this mission is making me nervous.}
Chamber said to Kendra.. {The place is so spooky and dangerous and a graveyard..} He continued
to say as they both listened and absorbed the conversation around them. Kendra said in her link to Jono as she listened to everyone talking about the mission. ((I'm trying to remember the last time I was there, and I'm having a hard time nailing it down. Guess that happens when you involuntarily go missing for such a long time. Your brain gets all screwy on the details)) As everyone greeted Warlock and welcomed Jolie to the team, Kendra glanced over at Kari and tried to piece together when that last trip to the one place that truly was a mutant graveyard actually happened, and she was stumped. ((I guess it doesn't matter when I saw that horrible place last. We get in, do our jobs and get out in one piece. That's all that matters, Jono)) |

“I am sure Wade and I will be a part of the assault on the Orchis base!” Vanessa said as she joined the conversation at the bar. “That is our
specialty and I would think that Cyclops would want us to do what we are good at!” Copycat took a swig of her beer before returning to her
plate of food.
Deadpool spouted out as he turned to Cyclops and gave him a quick salute.. And I feel you Diana I have a
lot of frustration I am going to take out on Orchis! It is going to be glorious and I can not wait for tomorrow!

Aurora wrapped her arms around Daken’s side and looked up at him with a grin, “So Aki, Where do you think we fit in all of this? We could join
your father on the assault or help out with the New Mutants? Where do you think we can do our best work?” She asked him as she felt that they
could work with any team.
Akihiro responded to Aurora. “My father is going to be with Cyclops at the assault on the Orchis base and I
think our skill set would be better in Genosha!” Akihiro said loud enough and directed his voice towards Illyana
and she responded with a thumbs up.

“The Professor and Magneto have a hidden base under the tower of Magneto in Genosha!” Illyana spoke up next. “They created a base
with some mutant survivors a few years back when they were living there! I think that should be the staging area for my team and for
everyone to fall back too!” Magik Suggested.

would be a good idea to know more about the base even though it has been many years that Charles had been there. At least that
they know of.

Ever since she was in the White Hot Room Diana was feeling the part of her that was the Phoenix more prominent to her. Something had
shifted her and slowly she felt that her memories of her childhood were altered in some way. Slowly her real memories were coming back.
She looked over to her brother Jason who was talking to Magik and wondered if his memories were coming back too. Something had changed
when he came back from the dead. He was now able to create a wolf pack out of his psychic abilities. Not to mention his Phoenix wolf raptor
that he was able to create. Diana knew that she needed to have a long talk with him and their father. She then looked over at him at the table
holding his wife’s hand across the table. There was a lot she needed to talk to him about. There was a lot he needed to know that was kept from
him. Suprema finished her meal and grabbed her beer and walked over to Juggernaut. “Congrats Cain on your new daughter. I would fancy a cigar
to celebrate.” Diana said before taking a drink of her beer.

“Wait a minute!” Rogue spoke up hearing the conversation about the two space stations. “I think us going to two stations is pushing
our luck a bit! I do not think I am on board with going to both!” She said as she approached the table with Gambit at her side. She
had to speak up with what she was hearing and express her uncomfortable feeling about the plan.

that has been shared! I agree Rogue going to both stations would overplay the situation and the odds of something going wrong is certain!”

"Don't worry Jess ye have eternity with each other you'll see him shortly.
"I guess that is my cue beloved. I'll see you shortly." Jessie responded as she took Dorchas hand anc in a flash they were gone.

Roslea was outside the main area of the bar finishing the setup for the wedding ceremony, and she looked inside the main room to see Rose and Ewan chatting as she felt a "thump" in her mind as Rhiannon walked over. "You didn't need to do that. I wasn't that lost in thought, Rhi. Could you help me with the last of the candles? This ceremony may be a bit rushed, but that doesn't mean it can't look beautiful."
Rhiannon nodded quietly as she set about lighting the remaining candles, but then Roslea noticed her wiping her eyes. "Oh. Bloody hell," Roz whispered under her breath. "That stupid fight Rhys had with Ryu was here. I'm sorry. Why don't you go inside and get a drink, and I can finish this?"
"No, I'll be fine," Rhiannon replied as she, too, saw Rose and Ewan talking. "Memories are just that. I'm here to help Ewan and Jessie get the proper start so many of us have been denied by fate. And no, I am not moping over Daiyei, or Ryu or Joe Blackwood. He's actually still working in the foothills of some Welsh town as a doctor, bless his heart. He went there to get away from Rhys when he and Alice got all messed up. Rhys can be such an idiot. He pushes everyone away."
"Even you? I heard he was meddling in your romantic life again," Roz said as the final candle was lit. "Wait. That's why you went to the Isle. Not to ride dragons. I'm sorry."
"Don't be," Rhiannon replied as she turned to find a few vases sitting there with some less than lush greenery. "Let me help with these," she said as she passed her hand over the blooms, and a violet light started to bring them to fuller beauty. "I almost hope Ruarc doesn't show up. He does not need to be between me and Rhys. Let him live his life in..."
"So, it is true. He's in Bagalia, too? Like my Mamo, Conri and Saorla. Lovely," Roz said as she shook her head.

Ewan had been quiet, and for him that was sort of unusual. He wasn't worried about marrying Jessie. He "felt" that some others might have considered their timing a bit off, but he chalked that up to nerves about the dual Orchis and Nate Grey situations. No one likely wanted to walk into this war with Orchis while not knowing what was happening with the X-Man drama, and he was sure that was coloring the emotions he was picking up.
"Yes," he said to Rose as he got up, looking over at the war council for a moment before heading toward what was essentially the coat check area near the front of the bar. "I just wish more of the families could be here. I know we'll have a big, splashy reception at another time, but I wanted more for Jessie. While marriage, under the best circumstances for most baseline humans and non-immortal mutants, is for life, for those like us, it truly is for all eternity. I would give anything to make this absolutely perfect for Jessie."
It was then that he knew the one thing he needed was also the one thing he did not have.
"Shite, I don't have a ring! And I will not resort to using a pull tab from a beer can," he said as he looked at Rose, trying to see if he could find anything that could be transformed via magic into something more beautiful and worthy of his future wife that some aluminum foil made into a circle.
