“Damn it!” Pixie folded her arms in anger as she wanted to go along. She did not blame Gabby one bit for running through the portal like she did.
“Just know everyone I can get us to Muir in seconds if we need too. For any reason just give me the word and we are gone!”

“Everyone stay calm!” Emma Frost shouted as she took command of the situation. She heard
what both Quentin and Cosmos had declared as Everly opened a portal..
“All of us going through that portal would be reckless… So Storm I am putting you in charge of
a team going through to aid Cable and Karenza. Everyone else will continue our trip to Hellfire
Bay where Kate and I will connect with the rest of the current leadership!”

"What the bloody hell?" Mal said as he ran up behind Illyana just in time to see two dragons flying over Muir Island via Everly's portal. "That old wizard took two of the dragons and just flew into battle? He never does that. Not unless Kari asked him to do it."
Mal looked at Illyana and knew that he should stay at her side until everyone was where they needed to be. While the gate system, as it was configured at the moment, would keep the attackers out, Mal could not help but wonder if whoever was attacking on Muir might not find a way around it in future. "Whatever is needed, I'm here. Merlin...oh shite."
It was then that Mal recognized the second rider as his cousin Rhiannon.
"Sorry. I just haven't seen my cousin Rhiannon in ages. She was never the best of riders in the past, but if Merlin brought her into this, he must have his reasons. What do you need me to do, Illyana? I'll help in whatever way I can."

Cair looked around to see if Seth had taken off after Gabby, but there he was, standing by the portal near Laura. "Kiddo, you do not..."
"Mom, I am not letting Gabby go into this alone," Seth growled as he looked around at everyone else getting ready to make the leap to Muir Island. "Colin! Duncan! Are you two coming or not?" Seth shouted at his brothers before he noticed Annika Summers was healing Colin.
"Logan, let me see what's up there," Cair said as she walked toward Colin who was definitely the worse for wear. "Annika, anything I can do?"
"We're coming," Colin said as he stood up and seemed to physically shake off whatever had been dogging him. "Duncan Howlett, get your stupid katana and come on."
"He said Siofra MacFeorais did something to him," Annika said quietly to Cair before Colin came back up to them and corrected Annika. "My great grandmother wants to pick up where Weapon Plus left off, and she's doing it with Helmut Zemo as a backer. That jackass Rydenborne kid, too. William. Worse than his father."
Cair looked over at Logan and shook her head before she saw Duncan come up next to Seth. By now the Witchblade armor was covering both her and Seth.
"I'm coming along," Annika said as she slung a medkit over one shoulder and a pulse rifle over the other.
"I'm all for blowing these idiots up today. Every one of them," Cair said as she waited for the signal to enter the portal. "Babe, we'll shut them down. We have to."

“Once Storm takes her team through I am going to transport the Hellfire and the Marauders to Hellfire Bay..
I will then return here and take everyone to Akademos Habitat which will be where our groups will be living..
I think that we should continue with what we are doing with the students until we get any further updates..

“That sounds like a good plan.. We need to keep an eye on the students.. So taking them to our
new home will be good for all of us.. All of us are excited to see the Akademos Habitat!” Sam
chimed in to what Illyana had said to Mal.. Sam looked back at the students and saw that they
were a bit nervous by what was unfolding..

Desmond was one of the newer students at the school and was not used to all of this like the
others were.. He overheard the conversation with Magik and was happy to hear that the
New Mutants would be staying with the students.. It made him feel safer..
“Good luck X-Men!” Fauna yelled out to the X-Men that were going on the mission..

could say anything.. He was not surprised by the move by Scout as she was a Logan.. He then looked
over at his wife and his son Seth to see them all armored up..
Logan put both hands on Seth's shoulders and looked down at him.. “You sure you are up to this?. It’s
more than okay if you stay here with Daken and the students..” He said to Seth as Seth put up one hand
and popped an armored claw.. “Okay little man we are doing this..”
Logan’s clothes transformed into his Wolverine uniform and began walking towards Cosmos’s portal..
“Ro!. I am leading the charge!” Wolverine said as Storm gave the nod.. At the same time Karenza was
giving the team a telepathic download of the situation just before Logan leaped through the portal..

“Laura you're with me!” Storm called out to the female wolverine..
“Logan and the others are going to aid Cable and Karenza’s team and we are going to help Jean
and the others that are with her!” Ororo explained to Laura as they approached Cosmos’s portal..
“Quentin!.. Everly.. When you both come through the portal you need to go for the big sentinels!”
She commanded as they both nodded with excitement..
Ghost stood behind Storm and Laura and placed each hand on their shoulders and phased all three
of them as they went through the portal..

Exodus suddenly appeared above the Reservoir and landed beside Emma.
“No need for Magik to teleport Hellfire or the Marauders to Hellfire Bay! I can do it since I need to be there. I assume that the Professor will be
staying with the Empress and Magneto is on his way. I would have brought him with me but I did not see him around!”

“Happy hunting!” Jason shouted out at his family and the others that had left through the portal. A part of him wished he went along but it was
best that he would stay behind just in case whatever it was that was going on reached the island.
Direwolf walked over to his sister Suprema and the rest of his family that stayed behind.
“I guess we will continue to Akademos then?”

"I agree." She replied to Bishop. Then Quentin and Everly's words caught her attention. "Seriously? This
is all happening-" She was thrown off guard by the sudden portal. "...so fast." Both Lazuli and Bishop
exchange looks. "What should we do?"
father Nightcrawler who was on the Council and would be going.
“Well we had a few days of fun before we had a situation to handle. At least we had that.” Bishop laughed.

“I need to be in this!” Dana yelled out as she leaped through Cosmos’s portal before it closed. She was inspired by Gabby going for it.
(I need to be in this Kurt. I hope you're not mad.) Dana said to Nightcrawler telepathically just before going through.
Organic metal formed armor around her body with a sword and shield. The shield had the Phoenix emblem on the front.

“Dana?” Rose said as she looked confused when she saw her sister leap through the portal before it closed.
“I guess we will continue to go to Akademos and hope everything goes well on Muir with everyone else. I am looking forward to hearing all about it if we
are not pulled into it. I am still looking forward to seeing our new home before the sun sets.”
