Rogue took Gambit’s hand after they ate and walked together to the seating area for the wedding. They saw Nightcrawler in prayer
and made sure that they did not disturbed him.

day into our day was shocking. What was more shocking was how perfect it was.” Rogue whispered to Gambit as she looked around at
all the pretty flowers that surrounded the area.

Jessie and Ewan had been off in their own little world in relation to what had been going on. For the Redhead she was more interested in being around her boyfriend than anything else . It wasn't that weddings bored her but she was still very much a shy being when it came to large gatherings.

Dani felt unease with Loki being here at the wedding and what comes after.. Even her slight
mental communication with Saber still did not ease her to much.. She decided that she had
to let it go it was not her responsibility. She then looked over at Rahne who was happy to be
hanging out with Thom which made Dani relieved to see her best friend was in better spirits..
She then looked over at Kai and gave him a smile..
“I’m sorry I have been a little distracted.. The Valkyrie in me is not to happy to see Loki here
and Saber’s soft spot for him makes me very concern.. I am trying to shake it off.. Sorry for
that.” Dani said to Kai "Do not apologize," Kai said to Dani as he looked toward Loki. "I can understand your concern. I read up about some of the Asgardians, and he was on my list. In my home dimension, the Asgardians more or less pulled out of the affairs of Midgard because of my father. Ronan the Everlasting had no love for Odin and his court. At times I believe he only loved himself. It still surprises me, in the most wonderful of ways, that this world's Ronan is not one bit like him."
Kai watched as Loki moved with Saber and his family group to a section of seats, and the New Mutant group sat far enough away from them that things would likely stay very calm. "I am sure Loki will be on his best behavior. And there are many here who will be watching the Professor's every move, not just the Trickster. I'll keep an eye on him, Dani." |

“I’m sorry.. I did know most of that I meant her grandmother..” Illyana looked embarrassed
for a moment.
“I do think we will be working much closely with one another for sure.” She said to Mal as
they walked with the others to their seat.. "Illyana, understanding my family dynamic is like trying to herd cats," Mal said as he kissed her on the cheek. "Or like that old saying about baseball and having a scorecard so you can know the players. Never, ever feel bad about any of that. I just wish my family was a bit less, I guess frustrating is the word. Do not give any of that another thought. We have much better things to occupy our time today."
Mal had thought about it a bit, and he was going to try to learn not to use very word in the dictionary or ever scrap of information when it came to his clan. Simple. Direct.
"Like Hemingway," he said aloud, not even aware that he had done so at first. "Sorry. I was thinking I need to be more concise when I speak. Like Hemingway. And, sadly, I never met the man."
Mal kissed Illyana again before they took their seats. "Thank you for sharing today with me."

Elda had been with her brother Loki talking when she felt a mental twinge in her mind and looked over at Kari, Cable and two others direction and a tall brunette caught her attention.
"Well brother it seems like I wasn't the only surprise put into this reality. I know her." She said nodding toward Captain Carters direction. I wonder how this will play out when her and the other Avengers finally meet?" "You know her? I should not be surprised, but I am," Loki said to Elda as he noticed everyone starting to take their places for the wedding. "Saber, where should we go to sit? I know there are rules for brides side or grooms side at Midgardian weddings, but I will defer to whatever works best for everyone. Elda, you should introduce me to your friend later. As for what The Avengers will make of her, I have no idea. As long as she works with them and not against them, she should be fine. But I am sure her presence might send Steve Rogers for a loop."

"I don't think anyone is following any formal seating plan, so we can go wherever you'd like, darling," Ewan said to Jessie as he looked for two empty seats that were not right in the middle of some squabbling members of his clan. "If you want to brave being around my cousins, I can introduce you to Ardan, that huge gent with the shock of white hair over there. His twin, Aerfen, seems to be with my parents near the Summers family group. Aerfen tends to be a bit more fun than Ardan. Whatever you fancy is fine with me." |

“I do understand family dynamics.. My brother Piotr is the only one I really had.. The rest of my
family is no longer alive but I do have another brother out there that is not a very good person
as his mental state is not the best.. His name is Mikhail and the last thing I heard was that he
was working with President Vladimir Putin on enslaving mutants for Russian control.” Illyana said
as she looked away and looked emotionally distressed for a moment..
“I know that there is a collision between the X-Men and Mikhail and it’s going to be very bad.. Family
can be a crazy thing.” |

past both Logan’s to open tent flap and looked out.
“Everyone is moving to their seats! Guys it’s really happening! Any minute now!”
bit crooked before he lead the way out of the tent once the music began to start.. He walked with
his best man his brother Duncan also known as Poltergeist.. As they walked Nightcrawler turned

“Okay everyone clear the way!.. Duskk’s Best man coming through!” Spouted Wade as he pushed
himself through some X-Men to get to Duskk’s side..
“Sorry I got confused about where to be and I was hungry so I got some breakfast and talked to
some people and then I noticed that it was starting.. So I hurried over and here I am.. I bet it’s
feeling pretty real to you about now!” Wade continued until Duskk reached over and placed his
right hand on Wade’s soldier and a strong feeling of relaxation came over him..

friend that you are here as my best man..” Duskk said as he sent a calm energy flowing through
Deadpool.. It was not the first and will not be the last time he would do that..
Duskk then turned to Old Man Logan.. “I know she is my daughter from an alternate world and
Monet and I had never had a chance to raise her.. I know that our counter part in your world did
not survive. Everly told me all about you finding her and how you took her in and she joined you
on your travels.. You are a father figure to her and that will never change.. She is blessed to have
us both and this world to refocus a new life moving forward.. Today is apart of that movement forward..
So you have my blessings and gratitude Logan..” Duskk then gave Old Man Logan a big hug before he
left with Wolverine to the brides..

her face. “I was getting worried that you got lost.. I was about to reach out and try and find you..

Both Logan and his older counterpart Old Man Logan walked past Banshee and Monet into
the tent together..
Logan put his hand on his chest and tried to keep his emotions in check when he saw Jubilee
in her wedding dress.. “Oh Darlen I am not surprised that your dress is pink and shimmers..
You look stunning!” He said as his voice was heavy in emotion and cracked as he spoke..
Jubilee ran over and like Monet she leaped into Logan’s arms..
Jubilee said as she kissed Wolverine on the cheek.
“Emma made sure all of got the dresses we wanted. She also went off how they would be more
perfect if Jumbo Carnation was alive.. She is still having a hard time with his death.. Anyway I
am so excited any moment now it’s going to start!” |
