was feeling before he put the collar on.
“I think you look very handsome with your collar and I just want to say that your not a human catholic Priest. Your a mutant Catholic
Priest and your the one that set’s the bar on what that means.” Dana continued as she had hope that would bring him to a new way of
thinking of the issue he was facing.
what I feel is right.. I live my life with higher attention.. Love.. Empathy and faith.. This is who I am
and that is what this collar means to me..” He responded before popping a peace of waffle into his mouth.. |

down.. It had been a while since he connected with them of late..

Before Kari could reply to Peggy, she heard Bobby mention that some of Emma's Champagne had gone missing, and she had a funny feeling one of her own had lifted it. "Just a second," she said as she closed her eyes and waved her hand. {{Bobby look behind you}} she said telepathically to Iceman so he could see that more of Emma's favorite was now on hand. {{I think one of my cousins has a taste for that vintage. Sorry for the unnecessary drama}}
"There is never a dull moment here, that's for sure," Kari said as she looked around the room and noticed a lot of people staring at Peggy. "And it may get even less dull soon. We tend to be a raucous lot when it comes to weddings. A group called The Neo tried to invade ours, and I pray we see no one trying that stunt today," Kari chuckled as she held Nathan's hand. "Peggy, how did you get here? To this dimension, I mean? Did you ever make it back home?"
Kari held Nathan's hand as she thought of her friendships with that world's Steve Rogers, Bucky Barnes and Howard Stark. And then she thought of the times she had crossed paths with Rogers, Barnes and Howard's son Tony in this world. How two worlds could be so similar and yet so different was beyond her at times.
"Coulson, I take it the CIA wants to see what Charles has to say today?" Kari asked as the former SHIELD agent shifted on his feet a bit. "Or did you drop in to see my daughter Chetna?"
Peggy for the first time looked solemn for a moment. "No I never got to see home again. It must not be in the cards for the moment. As far as how I got here well one could say I sort of dropped out of the sky....Literally. first I was a fighting a bloody great octopus and then I found myself in this reality. It's been a little overwhelming to say the least even with Coulson giving me a crash course in where things stand. "
She said before looking around catching on how many had taken notice of her arrival. " Oh bother. I hope my appearance here hasn't thrown things off?" "I can assure you that your arrival has not thrown a spanner into the works, Peggy," Kari said with a smile as more and more people seemed to be watching them. "I tend to have things like your arrival happen a lot around me. Thanks to Merlin splitting my very essence into shards and sending it across the multiverse, things like this happen quite often in my life. At least here you will actually get to meet many of my siblings. I remember droning on and on about my brother Cormac and his stint in the Royal Navy back in the day."
Kari prayed that she wasn't making things too confusing with what she had just said, but it could not be that much of a stretch after fighting what Peggy had been entangled with.
"That octopus was Hydra's Champion. At least that is what I remember Schmidt hollering about before the beast knocked him back. Man was an idiot. The last time I saw them, Steve and Bucky were on a mission to take out the Eagle's Nest. It was a success. I wish I could have been there to celebrate with them, but Hydra had other plans."
Kari suddenly got very quiet. This was part of her past that she really was not happy bringing up.
"They had their own Winter Soldier program there, and they managed to capture me while I was running surveillance for something Howard had gotten wind of in the last days of the war. They used my body to try and crack the immortality equation and mixed my blood with what they could find of yours, Peggy. The facility they had me stashed away in was taken down by what I can only imagine were the Howling Commandos. I never got to see who set me free from my mortal prison. And I have no clue if they realized everything that happened that day."
Kari took a deep breath and tried to shake off those memories. "As always, my life is equal parts comedy and tragedy. Let's focus today on the happier parts. Would you two like to get something to eat?"
"I'm sorry you went through all that Kari. I'm sorry I wasn't there but that darkness is over and fate has brought us back together. And this time I won't be disappearing. " She responded letting go of the hug and smiled at her friend. |

"Peggy, none of us could have predicted how that all played out. Not in a million years," Kari said as she returned her friend's hug and then looked back at Nathan again. "I never know exactly when all the old memories come blazing back to life, and there are parts of me still roaming the multiverse. I can see bits and pieces of what they are doing, and some may be seeing what we are doing right here. It can get confusing. Thank you all for understanding the insanity that my life can be at times."
"You know, before it all came crashing down, SHIELD started devoting at least a week at the academy to your various adventures," Coulson said with a grin, "and that's just your life before the X-Men. I may still have some of the materials they used in class if you'd like to see them, Kari."
"Oh, that sounds...very strange," Kari replied with a laugh before she saw Loki looking their way. "It's going to take me time to get used to that. I didn't know Loki and Saber were close. No matter. Let's get some food and a place to sit before the weddings start. Peggy, I meant to ask, have you met any of the Avengers of this world yet?" |

Kendra smiled as she stayed close to Jono. It was great having everyone together and so happy for the first time in a long time. "Oh! Emma has made her first appearance. If she isn't in the tent with the brides, that may mean the weddings will start soon."
As she stood there, Kendra saw Michael Priest acting weird. She didn't want to make a huge deal out of it, and it could have just been that drama with Shaw that set him off.
"Babe, later on I may go check on Faith and Finn. Their dad is acting weird. I mean weird for Michael Priest weird. It's probably just how everyone is getting that crazy vibe off Shaw. But I haven't seen Aradia here yet. Who knows what that means at this point? I'm probably just being too much of a worrier."
Kendra pulled Jono's hand to her lips and kissed it. "I think this is going to be a fantastic day for everyone! I'm so glad I'm sharing it with you, babe. Thanks for being my rock."

Elda had been with her brother Loki talking when she felt a mental twinge in her mind and looked over at Kari, Cable and two others direction and a tall brunette caught her attention.
"Well brother it seems like I wasn't the only surprise put into this reality. I know her." She said nodding toward Captain Carters direction. I wonder how this will play out when her and the other Avengers finally meet?"

Dylan entered the room and found himself a spot where he could take in the room in front of him and could barely be noticed. Everyone he had met had been very welcoming to him, but he still felt like the odd man out. These people were a family and he was just a guest here. A guest who felt like he was intruding on a special event that he had no right to be at. This is why Dylan chose to lean against the wall and set about forming a ball of metal in his hands. He proceeded to toss the ball from hand to hand and simply just watched.

Sam looked at Lockheed and smiled as he and the dragon turned to look at Kate hugging Ororo. "Lockheed, I think we are going to be going on a fantastic adventure. And I am so happy that Kate is happy."
If truth be told, Sam was still feeling like the little kid at the adults table at this wedding. He had no idea how he would fit into anything this new Hellfire was going to do, but he and Bee would give it their best shot. Then he remembered a piece of advice his cousin Michaela had given him the last time she saw him at that dump of a school in Cali.
Her exact words were: "Stop talking sh!t to yourself."
Kate had said the same thing earlier, but without all the swearing.
If they both were saying it, then it had to have a lot more merit than he'd admit.
"Whatever this is, whatever name it has, whatever we are all about to do, we are going to do it together!," Sam shouted as he offered Lockheed a place to sit on his shoulder. "People, dragons, big ass yellow robotic cars. All of us!"
Sam walked over to Kate and gave her a hug. "I knew you could make this work."

"How different are they here?""You know Elda? I'm glad she has another friend in this world," Kari said to Peggy with a sigh as she thought about some of her time-tossed parts who were not always quite so lucky. "We can go chat with her in a bit. As for the Avengers, well, they can be a sore subject around these parts. They have butted heads with the X-Men quite a few times. I missed the most recent one when some of those who wish to stand against us practically wiped my family from this world in one fell swoop. I'll explain the gory details on that one another time."
Kari thought about the Steve, Bucky and Howard from Peggy's world a bit, and then she winced as her mind turned to the ones here. "The Howard here passed away, but he has a son named Tony. He is called Iron Man and is one of the founders of The Avengers. Steve is right there beside him, and this world's Bucky was the one here to be called The Winter Soldier. You can just imagine how gruesome his story is. I haven't interacted with any of them since my return. I did get mixed up with Tony Stark on the mission that pulled me from this world and back to Camelot. That one will need a lot of whiskey and a long night to get through. Wait. I bet you can't enjoy whiskey anymore. I remember this world's Steve saying he can't get drunk and doesn't really enjoy the taste so much anymore."

Aradia was coming to this event for Faith. It was as simple as that. At least that's what she told herself when she started packing her bags last night.
The Gray Warrior Princess was needed. The big sister card was pulled. No turning back now.
And everyone here likely expected the entitled brat to come in and steamroll the place. But was that even who Aradia was anymore?
Aidan was dead. Their cousin Reid was dead. Nothing was the same anymore. Maybe it was time for Aradia not to be the woman they all expected? She'd keep that card close to her vest for the moment.
"Daddy," Aradia said as she finally made her way over to the Hellfire area. She was dressed in something like the blue evening gown Gal Gadot wore as Wonder Woman, except that this was a lovely shade of eggplant--complete with a sword down the back. "I'm here because Faith..."
"I told him you were coming," Faith said as she ran and wrapped her sister in her arms. "Thank you."
Aradia scanned the group around her and wondered why the hell Kitty and Ororo were with them. "This is quite the group," she said as she turned to look at Graeme. "I heard from Zach. We need to have a chat later. He's up to his neck in it again, and I'm not sure Grandmum is going to let him off the hook this time. He made promises to her and Saorla. He shoots off his mouth too much."
