Moira looked up at her father with tears in her eyes, and the old family psionic link screamed back to life. As she held her head, Moira saw what her family and the X-Men had learned since her mother and siblings returned to this world. "The Shadow King and Cassandra Nova did this? Seriously? They put one over on everyone? How is that possible?"
Moira turned back to Hank and buried her face in his chest as she continued to cry.
"I am so sorry," she said as she tried to regain her composure. "Hank, Mama, Papa, everyone...I should not have lost it like that."
"Get in line, little sis," Cass said as she stood there with Alexander and M'Koy. "We all plan to take care of business once we find those two. Giovanna wasn't real. I'm going to blast them to another planet for that one."
"What?" Moira said as she looked up for a moment. "But I saw her. Helped you train her. How is that possible?"
"We have a lot to figure out," Cass said as she took a deep breath. "Even if I find out on my deathbed, I'll figure it out."

Kendra couldn't believe they were standing in Central Park now after all that craziness. She scanned the area for Warren and Persha, and yeah, she saw them, but she also got the vibe that they wanted to be alone, so she wandered off until she saw Kari.
((Ma, I need to talk to you later)) she thought as she walked up behind Kari. ((My relationship radar seems to be super screwed up again. I'll live, but I need a shoulder)) she added as she cast a glance over toward Warren and Persha. ((It was a lot easier when Aidan was alive. I never had to figure out much because I was with him))
Before she actually voiced a word, Kendra saw Michael Priest and realized he didn't know that Aidan had died. "Ma, he needs to know..."
"And that is my job, not yours," Kari said as she hugged Kendra. "I'll tell him once things are less frantic, or if I see an opening before he goes back to Hellfire or Ravencroft Manor," Kari added as she looked back at Persha and Warren. "Don't beat yourself up. No way you could have known. And the last time we were here, Warren was with someone else, and she is not among our number anymore. Go find a room and rest. Goddess knows you need it, Kendra."
Rain had been off to the side letting her sister and Warren have their time but as she looked over she saw and felt Kendras sadness and walked over to her.
"Hey" She said with a smile. "No one needs to feel alone." She said gently taking the lead she gently put her hand over Kendras "I know how it feels to have so many mixed up feelings but no one should be alone. I'm here if you need someone to talk to."
Rain would never lie she thought Kendra was very attractive but this wasn't about her own feelings this was about being a friend to the young woman in front of her.

(Kendra!) Chamber shouted to her as he saw her in the distance. He was so happy to see her again.
In the past they would hang out around the mansion had long conversations about life. Then everything
else got in the way as she had disappeared. Jono waved to her as he hurried through the crowd of X-Men
and students. (Hay Luv! How are you it been a long time.) He said as he walked over and saw that she was
upset. (You okay Luv?)

could see himself being really close with both of them. It made him hopeful for the future. “I am going to spend an hour or two in my
room to settle back in and then I am going to head to Dallas to my pops place. I am going to see if he’s there or any clues to where he
could be.”

Daken laughed.. “Every family has to have a black sheep..” He leaned down and hugged Gabby..
“We are a family and most of my mind was twisted by Romulus.. We have a lot a work for Logan
and I be in a good place.” He said with a straight face looking Wolverine in the eye..
Jimmy felt like Daken was a dick. How Laura, Gabby, Rose and Dana were able to get along with him was a mystery. It was clear that Daken
cared for the girls a lot. For Old Man Logan, Wolverine and him it was not that way at all. Daken looked at him with distrust and some sort of
judgment in his eyes. “At least you have the knowledge that Romulus influenced your mind towards our dad.” Jimmy said as he stepped closer
to his fathers side and locked eyes with Daken. |

waited for whatever hostile words he had for her.

all of them over the years. They had been on other teams and other life stuff that kept them apart. Now was the time for all of them to
come back together again.

magical. Dani turned to her side and saw the trees and the power of it’s beauty. It was a perfect message from the ancestors of the future.

"Thanks, Rain," Kendra replied as she gave the young woman a hug. "My boyfriend died when we were in the great big suck that Cassandra Nova and Shadow King had us stuck in, and seeing everyone so happy now sort of hit me hard. I'll be fine. But if I ever need to talk--or if you need to--we can find each other. I promise. This place isn't that hard to navigate, even at the worst of times."
Kendra turned as she heard Chamber's voice in her head, and a smile formed on her face. "I'll catch you later, Rain," she said as she walked over to Jono. "And it is great to see you, man! God, that was just nuts beyond nuts! Figures I'd walk back into a fight the first time out of the box. What were you up to while I was lost in time and space? And sorry, I didn't get to bring back any nifty souvenirs this time. I wanted to pocket something from Camelot, but I never got the chance."
As Kendra looked around, she kept getting those stupid vibes again. Rain was likely as lost as she was in some ways, and she wanted to help if she could. She just knew she sucked at being a matchmaker, but maybe widening circles of friends would help in the end.

"I am going to be brutally honest, ladies," Jordan said with a smile as she hugged Alison and Shane, "the meds I was on when I was locked up in that mental hospital might have messed with my voice. I'll ask Hank or Cece to look me over soon, but I would be honored to be back working with you both again any way I can."
Jordan looked back toward Berto and smiled. Things were finally starting to feel right again. She dug her nails into her arm to make sure she wasn't dreaming this up. "Sorry. I really can't believe this is true!" she added as she heard people talking about a double wedding. "Ali, are you doing the songs for the wedding? Can we help at all?"

Seth stood next to his mother and watched the back and forth between his siblings. And not all of them were there yet either.
He had no idea how to feel about Daken at the moment, so he was going to keep his thoughts to himself for now. His mom had told him a lot of things while they were away, but he wanted to see if maybe things had changed while they were off doing war with the shadows.
"So, we have a whole floor? That's going to be different," he said to Gabby as his armor finally retracted fully. "Just like this big family is different."
"Wait until my family shows up," Cair added as she looked from Seth to Logan. "If any of them are still around."
Seth nodded to his Mom before looking at Gabby again. "Gabby, maybe you can give me the grand tour later? And you can fill me in on the family history from when we were away? Not knowing stuff bugs me. A lot."
