“Good luck to you on your mission.” Lucas said to Suprema as Lazuli and him gave her a quick hug before they
headed off. Lazuli and him made their way to Storm. “Okay boss reporting for duty.” He said as he was already
for combat. His rifle was slung over his back and his pistols had fresh clips and spare clips were in every pocket
he had on his uniform. Lazuli had her battle staff and other weapons tucked away in her pocket dimension.

As they prepared to leave Sarah mentally contacted her father Gambit as they waited. Something was on Sarah's mind for some time she just couldn't stop thinking about it. ("Dad have you heard anything about Cain?") She said solemnly. Juggernaut and Sarah were still married technically but she hasn't seen him in some time and although there were never any papers physically she felt like they had broken up.
Her question made him feel sad thinking about how her relationship ended after Sammy’s death.. (The last
thing I heard is that he was in Europe doing jobs with Black Tom again..) He responded in his link.. (I have
hopes that he will return after he comes to grips with his grief. Sammy’s death really messed the guy up
ma fille. Only time will tell.) |

adored..“Well Laura and I already have a team we need to get too.. So good
luck out there and stay alive we have a lot of family stuff to do in the future!”
Gabby gave everyone hugs and her dad was the last one. “I spent years traveling
the world as an assassin for the program with my sisters.. I never could imagine
having a dad and a family outside of all that.. I’ve never been so excited about the
future until now!.. Good luck dad!” Gabby kissed Logan on the cheek..

on your mission.. Jean already has a lot of faith in you three.” He said as he reached out and shook Sid’s
hand.. “Good luck and get it done!” He said as they headed off to Jean’s team.. Wolverine then faced Cair
and Seth taking in what Karenza said and the conversation between them.. “For now I think you both should
fight on my team.. It’s a straight out scrap outside the inhumans home of New Attillian.. We’re basically a
distraction while Jean’s team and X-Force do their thing on the inside.. This way I can see Seth in action and
see what he can do Darlen.”

Ororo announced as she stepped over where she needed to be.. She looked over at Logan
and Cair and felt so happy for them.. She then gazed over at Genn as he stood with Jean’s
team.. It was obvious that their friendship was going deeper with a promise of a date.. Storm
liked him a lot and she felt that he could be the one for her.. She was looking forward to that
first date and spending more time with him when this inhuman problem goes away..

"Thank you, guys, for fixing me," Jordan said to Christopher and Saber as she started to cry. "Berto, I wasn't crazy. I really wasn't crazy. Oh my God..."
Jordan didn't know if screaming or crying were her best options, but the tears won out as they kept coming.
"TMZ...we fed them that story," Jordan said as she looked at Dani and Xian. "I really thought I was going crazy, so I asked Berto to put me in a mental hospital out in Cali. I was having visions of...of hurting everyone on the team. Of hurting my little sister. It was bad, but I didn't want everyone thinking I was some bomb ready to explode. The doctors said I had some mega-size chemical imbalance, and they have been working on the right drug cocktail for me. But I kept getting worse. Berto was by my side through it all, but I didn't want anyone seeing me and thinking all mutants were crazy, so I hid myself away."
As she kept wiping away her tears, Jordan stopped and pulled something out of her short cut boot. "These aren't even my shoes. I stole them from..."
Jordan turned white and reached out for Saber's hand. "Whoever did this to me did this to a lot of other people. I escaped. There was an explosion, and some lady literally dropped me off here. She had black fairy wings and looked like Judi Dench the actress. Said her name was..."
"Siofra, my grandmother," Kari said as Jordan nodded enthusiastically. "Oh boy. I wonder what brought her out now?"
"She said she was looking for Scarlett. That much I do remember. And there was Will Turner from the Pirates movies on a dragon," Jordan said as she grabbed Berto's hand. "I'm sorry I put you through all that, babe. I really thought I was going to do a Charles Manson on everyone. Thanks for never giving up on me, even when I gave up on myself."
Jordan reached up and kissed Roberto and then looked at the others who had more right to the name New Mutant than she ever felt she had in her time at the school. "I am never leaving you guys again!"
