Warren landed beside the older Cyclops and Storm. “We have Sentinels heading for the island!”
He announced. “I saw Cannonball, Sunspot and.” Warren paused for a moment. “Dragonfly aboard
the blackbird.” As he said it both Scott and Storm looked surprised by everything he had said. “The
sentinels are only minutes away!”

The much older Logan and Ghost were about to join the rest of the Weapon- X team until they
heard Archangel news on the sentinels. “There has to be that one thing to make things more difficult
then it should.” Old Logan said to Ghost as he stopped his movement and stood looking up at the sky
for the sentinels. All he could see was heavy clouds which was normal for this part of the world. “Well
Bub are you ready to fight some ten cans?”

“SENTINELS!” Alex yelled in response. Havok began to power up and was more then ready for a
good scrap. Alex was filled with rage seeing the bodies of his friend Madrox. “I am ready for a
pre attack!” He yelled to Cyclops ready for his brothers command on what to do next. They were
almost in range of his blast.

“As Daken said we know what your capable off and I would not have you here if I questioned
that.. By nature the pack watches out for one another and that is what we are doing.” Laura
also added after Daken spoke.. X-23 and Sid fallowed behind Gabi as they were next to enter
the inside of the facility.. Once inside Laura heard a slight moan.. She fallowed in the direction
she heard and broke off from the rest of the group.. Sid fallowed at her side.. “I heard something.”
She said to him as she came to a Madrox dupe in a corner.. “We have a live one!” X-23 shouted as
she checked his pulse and listened to his breathing..
Dark Red jumped in as Daken scooped him up and carried him to one of the beds in the medical station.
Wolverine then announced that sentinels would be touching down any minute. “Of course!” She responded
as she found herself not surprised by this news. "Maybe we should exit the facility and plan our escape!" |

“The Shadow King has the Professor soul trapped in the astral plane!” Psylocke announced as Saber
and her hurried to Cyclops side. She knew they had to figure out what had happen to Muir island but
desperately she wanted to form a team of powerful telepaths with Saber and go into the astral plane
to free the Professor. A battle that could be very lethal to anyone who would challenge the Shadow King.
For Betsy and Saber it was their specialty. “When we get to the school Saber and I will form a team to
rescue his soul!” She told Cyclops as she kept the information about Blindfold and Legion to herself for now.
dangerous situation that they had entered with the Shadow King.. Both Betsy and him have fought grand astral
battles with the mental parasite and understood the scale of it all.. Both of them connected to Jean as they
could see what Wolverine was seeing.. Saber could also feel the new Phoenix like entity appear close to the
planet..
She said to everyone in the psionic link. (This is something else. Let’s hope it is friendly and not an enemy.) Psylocke did not want
to deal with another psionic adversary at that level while dealing with Amahl. |

Dana was seeing inside her head everything her father Wolverine was seeing and at the same time she felt
this new Phoenix appear close to earth. The Phoenix Force was not new at all but very old. Suprema formed
full armor, shield and sword once she heard about the sentinels. “Also ready for combat!” Dana shouted as she
made her way to Colossus and Shadowcat. She wanted to fight along side the people she was closes with. "I
hope you do not mind if I join you both during this crises." Dana said to them as she approached.

“Cyclops I can get everyone off the island and back to the school on your command!” Illyana spoke
up and unsheathed her soul sword. Magik was hoping that Cyclops and Storm would give the command
as she wanted off of Muir before the sentinels arrive. Her concern was if the team could mobilize in time.

“Jean, Sentinels are coming.” Young Scott said as he still held her in his arms. “Are you going to be
okay?” He asked as she nodded her head that she was but she still looked shell shocked from being
in the control of the Shadow King. She was also seeing and hearing everything from the link of the
Phoenix holders and Wolverine. Young Cyclops was worried.

“Kura is still unconscious!” Young Beast yelled out as he carried her in his arms as did Gambit
with Rogue. “We need to get back to the school! We have to get our incapacitated to our med
station! We have no clue what is going on with Kura or Rogue!” Young Hank headed for where
Magik was as he wanted to be one of the first to cross over as was Gambit.

“Oh Hell I see them!” Young Iceman pointed off in the distance ten sentinels breaking out of the
clouds heading in their direction. “No matter what boys and girls we are going to have some sort
of combat!” He said waiting for Older Cyclops or any of the command staff to give some sort of
direction to the team.

Crystal had been flying above Muir when she was looped in to all the information coming in including the new Phoenix presence. She breathed a sigh of relief that it wasn't the Shadow King but no one knew who this being was and what their intent was. She saw the Blackbird coming in and farther out she could see the sentinels. {"Beloved I see both our team and the uninvited company.....We need to be ready asap."} She said telepathically to Namor but then she felt something else.
She looked over the horizon and saw the sky start to take on orange, yellow & black shades. {"I think we have another guest coming in as well."} She said to her beloved as well as those connected with the Phoenix.

“Magik opened the portal.. We are going to have to fight our way out!.. Cable time to go!.. Get
the team out!.. We need to move out!” Cyclops then turned to Havok and gave the nod of his
approval as he also powered up his visor to join his brother in a pre counter strike to give the
others time to escape..

Ororo gave Jean a big hug before flying straight up in the air.. “I need X-Men that can join me
up here to help keep the sentinels at bay!” Storm announced as she hovered beside the Blackbird..
She gave a friendly smile and nod to everyone inside the Blackbird before sending a hurricane blast
of wind at the sentinels.. The clouds became dark as lightning danced around from cloud to cloud..
Storm was weaponizing the weather for her continue attack.. Storm was then greeted by Bloodstorm
as she joined her alternate twin..

Namor pulled off the bracelet that was around his wrist and it transformed into a golden trident.
(I hope this new guest is on on our side and not against us.. That is the last thing we need right
now.) He said in the mental link he had with his wife.. Namor could not help but to think about
everything that has happened to the X-Men and the mutant race over the years.. He felt like he
had to do more in the future for the team and mutants.. Namor was understanding he was more
then just an Atlantian King but a mutant.. He flew into the air to join Storm when she made the call..

(Okay X-Men we got this!) Everyone heard inside of there head as Jean hovered in the air half
way up in the air.. (Those who can hold off the sentinels will hold grown as everyone escapes
through the portal!) Jean went through the plan to make sure everyone knew what was going
on.. She then flew higher up and joined Storm.. Jean then began to focus on the force that was
coming in from space.. (Who are you!) She said as she tried to reach out to it...
