Cable unleashed a magnificent level of power as pure kentic force shot out from his psimitar
and hit Apocalypse.. Cable watched as his arch enemy began to fall back.. Cable was about
to make another strike when he felt the dark psionic energy fill the whole area .. He looked
over to see the dome shatter and Phoenix fire explode out like a nuclear bomb.. Before he
could could do anything he was bathed in the flames as was everyone that was here.. It was
painful in a strange way.. The pain gave away to a numbness and a tingling sensation all through
his body.. It seemed to last forever and then everything went black.. Suddenly Cable could feel
a cold breeze blowing against his skin.. The smell of grass and the ocean.. The first thing he
could hear was the sound of seagulls.. Cable opened his eyes to discover that he was on the ground
laying grass.. He instantly knew where he was by the hills off in the distance.. It was Muir Island the
home of Mactaggert's Mutant research center and former home of Excalibur.. But that was not all
that Cable saw.. In front of him was a dead body of Jamie Madrox The Multipul Man.. In fact all the
X-Men were laying next to dead bodies of Madrox..

Storm felt her body jolt as it reconnected with the earth.. She gasped for fresh air.. She felt alive
as she could feel every molecule of the Island.. Before she could get a good look she already knew
she was on Muir Island.. But that happiness that she was feeling soon gave away to horror of two
bodies of Madrox laid beside her.. "Oh Jamie!" She said as tears slowly crawled down her cheeks..
Ororo then saw older Jean laying unconscious not to far from her.. Storm crawled on over to her
as she felt very weak.. She laid with her arm around Jean and felt her breath and laid her head
against her back listen to her heart beat.. "Your really alive.." Ororo whispered..

Jean laid her hand on top of Storm's hand that rested on her stomach.. She smiled as she
felt the emotions and the loud thoughts of love from her best friend.. "Yes Ro I am really
alive." Jean whispered back.. She just wanted to take a moment and enjoy being alive
again and the overwhelming love she was feeling from Storm.. In a few moments she knew
that she had to return to the nightmare reality of the Shadow King and the war with the
Inhumans..

"JEAN!!" Spouted Older Cyclops as he sat up and looked over across a pile of dead Madrox's to
see her and Storm laying together.. (I'm okay Scott.) He heard her in his head.. (Thank God
your really alive.) He said back to her in the mental link they shared.. He looked over to see
the real Wolverine alive beside him.. "Logan!.. Are you conscious?"

"I am now..Bub!" Logan responded as he sat up and looked around. "Looks like we're on Muir."
Logan conveyed as he tried to absorb everything he was seeing. "All I want to do is go and get
a pitcher of cold beer and a hot apple pie at Harry's and finish all of it off with a Cuban cigar.. But
we have a war and the Shadow King has a Phoenix... That is pretty bad even for X-Men standards.."
"Logan when this is all over I will treat you to all that on me.." Scott said as he gave a slight
smile.. and a nod of his head..
"Damn Slim!.. Is it possible that you really did miss me?" Both Logan and Scott laughed..

Piotr sat up and saw Kitty close by still unconscious but he then saw Duskk next to him also unconscious..
Monet was missing but their daughter Everly was beside him in Quentin's arms.. "Duskk my friend
are you okay?" He spouted out as he checked to see if all his wounds had healed..

James tried to stand up but fell down onto his knees.. His body was too weak.. "Michelle!"
He called out to his wife and began to crawl across the grass to get to her.. As he scooped
her up into his arms he saw beside her the Phoenix symbol burned into the grass.. But the
very center of the symbol was not burned at all.. A patch of grass in the shape of a spider..

Dana was taking a moment for herself. This adventure had changed her life forever in so many ways.
She came back to earth forever changed. She became a mother and raised her daughter with her husband
Nightcrawler in the Phoenix egg. Even though Kurt and her never aged and their daughter did. She knew how
Scott and Jean felt that they were able to raise Cable. Dana felt very grateful to the Phoenix force resurrecting
her and her daughter and giving them this time. Suprema looked over to see her daughter resting in the arms
of Bishop in the grass. Not to far away was Nightcrawler surrounded my sleeping Bamfs. Even though they would
have to fight this war and most imported of all the battle with the Shadow King was looming. Dana was more happy
then she had ever been. Both her mom and dad was also resurrected. Jean Grey and The Wolverine was back to the
living world. So Dana sat in the field taking a moment feeling blessed.

Warren was also taking a moment as he returned to earth completely changed. He now had full
control of the Deathseed and the Lightseed that was in him. There was a since of freedom that
he had not felt for a very long time. And to top it off Jean was alive again. From all of the bad
something good was birthed into the wold. Warren was back in full Angel mode with his light
skin and feathered wings enjoying the semi chilly breeze against his skin. Warren was happy
to be home in sound of mind.

Muir!" He told her as he recognized the right scents that he only experienced on Muir or Scotland.
But he also smelled the rotting smell of death. He saw all the dead Madox's. "Something bad happened
here." He said to her as he kissed the side of her head again. |

“Blue!” Betsy shook her husband Saber awake. “We’re on Muir Island she said as he looked around
and took everything in. “Farouk has the Professor trapped in the astral plane.” She said to him as they
both knew what there part was in all of this. Psylocke and Saber’s war was going to be in the astral plane
against the Shadow King directly. No matter what was going to happen with the Inhumans Betsy’s war was
with Amahl Farouk directly. “The Professor wants us to get Blindfold and help resurrect Legion.” She said to
him as the Professor’s son was the key to fight the Shadow King.

“JEAN!” The Young Cyclops yelled out as the young Marvel Girl laid unconscious close by. Scott
could not stand so he crawled over to her ans scooped her up into his arms. The younger Cyclops
hoped that she was free of the Shadow King now that they had returned to earth. He just wanted
her to open her eyes and see that the blackness was gone from them.

“KURA!” Young Beast also crawled over to his girlfriend and scooped her up into his arms.
But something was different. Her eyes were open and Pheonix fire burned in them and she
seemed to be in some sort of coma. “Kura please wake up!” He yelled but there was no change.

Lucas just laid on the ground with Lazuli in his arms listening to the conversations around
him when he had awakened. He took the moment to enjoy the peace and the fresh ocean
air. These moments never last that long in the life of the X-Men. Bishop felt like he also had
to relax and keep control as his body still absorbed the Phoenix energy and it was amplifying
inside of him. His eyes and skin glowed as he had never had such power run through his body
before. It felt good and scary at the same time.
