“Well Nikita, this old man needs to get some sleep now that I finished my meal. Tomorrow is going to take a lot to get through. I forgot
to ask you Darlin where are you ending up in this battle tomorrow?” He asked Nikita as he was glad that he was going to Genosha with
the New Mutant team.

DireWolf walked over to Daken and handed him a frosted mug of beer, “I thought it would be nice to have a drink with my brother.”
Jason said to Akihiro before he took a drink from his mug. “I am not looking forward to returning to Genosha but I am looking forward
to being on a mission with you finally.” Expressed Jason as Daken motioned for him to come join him at the bar.
“You are right, we have not had the time to bond like the others in our family. I am also looking
forward to working with you in the field.” Akihiro said to DireWolf as he looked up at his half brother
who was very tall. “Your size has to be a part of your mutation and not from Logan.” He chuckled.. |

Domino was laughing with Deadpool and Dragonfly but Conor and Domino’s tone was different than Wade’s. Their laughter had a
nervous or uncomfortable tone to it. Domino and Dragonfly’s eyes locked onto one another and expressed a worry that they did
not want to share with everyone. Although anyone who was watching them carefully and really listening to them could see it in
them. They did not share the same conclusion as Deadpool.
Kid Cable had spouted out from connecting to older Cable’s link with Karenza before getting tossed out.
Conor looked over at Karenza and studied her body language as she engaged with older Cable.. The look
on her face was serious but it was not dire in appearance. He returned his gaze to Domino and talked to
her in sign language from where he was to her.. When X-Force first formed it was something he taught the
team so they could communicate silently from a distance.. Everyone was good at doing it except for Feral..
She did not have the temperament to try and learn it.. Dragonfly said to Domino, (I think the kid was
overreacting..) Domino nodded as he then stood up and walked over to Fantomex and JJ.. Conor nodded to
Fantomex before facing JJ, “So JJ I got the results from the DNA test.. We are not related to Apocalypse but
there is a surprise result.. It looks like I am your ancestor.. We are family!” He revealed.. |

Gabriel sat at the table silently eating his food and listening to the mission plans coming together. Slowly his head began to hurt and
his attention in the present time began to fade from his mind as he began to flash back to a memory. He remembered floating inside
the Fault which was between world and beyond time and space. He was badly wounded and was dying from his injuries. Vulcan was in
and out of consciousness. He felt something taking a hold of him and took him out of the Fault into another place like a lab and was
strapped to a table. The memory was a bit fuzzy and his head was hurting more as the memory continued. There were three beings that
stood at the front of the table looking down at him speaking to one another. Gabriel did not recognize the language as they spoke. Suddenly
in the memory he was in pain as he felt every atom of his being ripped apart and rebuilt by one atom at a time. Vulcan took a deep breath
and lowered his head into his hands. Trying to shake off the memory.
into his hands as if he was sick.. “Gabriel, are you okay?” She said as she reached over and put her
hand on his back and waited for some kind of a response.. |

and iron everything out before we begin our operations!” Cyclops announced to everyone at the
table.. He looked over at Karenza and hoped that her conversation with older Cable was better
than younger Nate was suggesting..

Alex could not help but to laugh when Deadpool made his response to Quentin Quire. “Sorry Quentin, you set yourself up for that one!”
He jumped in with a response before turning to his daughter and their conversation. “So the Phoenix Force kind of evolved your powers
to a new level. The Phoenix Force for some reason has always connected itself to mutant kind. Not just Jean but that relationship moves
beyond our understanding.”
She paused for a moment before getting a hold of herself. "As to my powers that is one way of putting it. I think they may even surprise grandpa Erik and mom. It's hard to explain. It's like she evolved me to the point that even if part of her child's energy isn't running through me my powers evolved simply by her touching me. " |

Before we head out on our missions, maybe the mystics need to weapon up a bit more than usual. After my brother and Jessie say their vows, I'll see if we can summon the door to the armory we had at the temple. It may not be physically at the school at the moment, but we should be able to do something..."
"And the armory at Buckland," Piper said as she finally made herself a part of the conversation. "My grandfather has any number of items that could put those bozos down. Sydney and I could get what is needed. Dante, you are more than welcome to come shopping, too."
"Thank you," Kari said as she breathed a small sigh of relief before putting her hand on Young Cable's shoulder. "And I know this is beyond weird. Right about now I wish you had access to younger me. It might help. It could also scare you away from me for all eternity, so maybe it isn't the best idea," she added with a wink. "As Ewan, Roz and Rose could tell you, I have not always been the nicest of souls nor the least reckless."

"This needs to be special," he said quietly as the necklace started to slowly transform into two wedding bands, one for Jessie and one for him. Both were black gold, and Jessie's had a very large ruby set into it at the center with smaller rubies at the sides. Ewan's had the smaller accenting rubies and none in the center. Both had intricate filigree patterns in the bands. "These are beautiful. They remind me of rings I saw in a small shop in New Orleans back in the late 1800s. Thank you again, Rose."
Ewan looked to see that Roz and Rhiannon had finished setting up the area for the ceremony. "Well, when Jessie is ready, then we will start."

"I'm just glad you and Akihiro have found a place to call your own in this world. You and all your children for that matter. I'm glad Seth has so many Howlett family members to bond with, especially the younger ones. Heaven knows my family will likely never give him cousins by the dozens. Glynis can't settle down long enough to buy a coffee maker, and Maggie took vows of celibacy. And Jack is Jack. Super aunts and uncle? Sure. Beyond that? Well, that's life. You go with the hand you're dealt."
Cair looked back as Kari told the group about Saber's progress. "And maybe our luck will start changing now. I'll be by your side wherever Scott needs us. No more of this splitting up stuff if we can avoid it." |

"And I'll be by your side, babe, for any assist necessary," JJ said to Fantomex as she thought about what the job was they needed to do this time. "When this is in the books, I think I need to talk to Kate and Genn to see if I could pick up more power pointers, for lack of a better word. I've always relied on my weapons and my wits, but it's time I do more with the gifts God gave me..."
It was then that Conor came over and dropped the news from that DNA test they did earlier. "Holy sh!t!" JJ barely got out before her brain started rummaging around for how this family tree might have actually grown. "Wait. The family we have in Irish Channel. That has to be it!" JJ shouted as she gave Conor and Fantomex a hug. "There are Irish immigrants all over Louisiana, but we had family in the Irish Channel neighborhood. I'll talk to Lu when we get her back and see if we can piece this together. They are on Mama's side, so that means Lu is your descendant, too! Yes, good news!"
JJ wiped a tear from her eye and smiled broadly. "Happy tears! Trust me!" |

“Jason and I are twins so we share a lot of the same physical traits. Like Jason and I have enhanced strength, of course my strength level
is about the same as Colossus. I think the Phoenix Force has tweaked our genetics a bit.” Suprema said as she walked over and joined the
conversation with her brothers and Aurora. “For a long time it was just my brother and I. It is nice to have other family in our lives now. In
such a short time I have been able to bond with Laura, Gabby and dad. I think Cair is a perfect match for dad. I see how much they love one
another. I am also glad that my brothers have found love with you Aurora and Jason has with Bobby. And I am absolutely in love with Kurt and
miss him so much. We are all blessed in that way.” Diana said as she rubbed Jason’s back as he looked sad when she mentioned Bobby. The
separation from the ones they loved was very hard.

and bug it up as best as we can!” Mystique rejoined the conversation and ignored the whole thing
with Kid Cable so she could make her thoughts clear on the direction of the mission. “Fantomex with
your skills I am sure you are able to hack the station and download as much information that you can
before we can make our exit. I prefer for us not to be noticed at all! If so, we need to create the illusion
that we are there to destroy the station by planting charges and creating a bit of chaos before we exit!
Using the Bodyslide tech would be useful.. Major, I would like a quick lesson on the tech before we leave
for the mission tomorrow!”
