D was too shocked to immediately respond to the woman's telekinesis snatching Althena's broken crown out of his hands. It was a weird feeling he got from her, and he didn't even notice her taking the item from his hands before it was even too late. Part of him wanted to jump across the table and take it, but instead he looked at Karenza and Cable. And seeing how Cable reacted to it all put him somewhat at ease. Dante was too busy focused on what Piper was saying to notice D was distracted. "I don't know what it means," Dante said as he glanced from the strange woman back over to Piper. "All I know is that the amount of magical energy has spiked since last night, and a lot of it seems to be coming from that thing, you, and Kari." He then glanced over at the strange woman one more time. "And her too...."D continued to stay silent as he looked the woman over. His flerken began to meow as he jumped out of his jacket and crossed the table, before crawling into her arms. He realized who he was looking at then. "Althena..!?" He asked. She pet the flerken a few times and then looked up at D with a smirk. "Hello, Daiyei." [googlefont="Tangerine: 700"]
that it was cat for the moment. Polaris did know about flerkens were from her time in space. For the moment she had no clue to what it was.

Aurora walked beside Daken as they headed back to Logan's table.
"I am really sorry that your girlfriend left on such a special day. If you need to talk I am a good ear and I have been down this road
before with former lovers myself. I also had a lover that was a pawn of Romulus and lost him to the programing. It broke my heart."
Jeanie Marie explained to Daken as she was worried about him. She did feel a strong connection to him.

The Gold Queen and her court had been sitting at the Hellfire Club Trading Company table but one of the court had other things on her mind and finally she had to address it.
("Claire. I wanted to speak to you about something. I've tried to dance around it but I can't. I've felt something towards you for some time and I wanted to ask you if you would be willing to trust me and give us a shot?")
Claire took a moment before smiling and leaning in to kiss Rain on the cheek before responding "Of course Rain...I would gladly have you as my girlfriend. " The Gold Queen said as she gently held Rains hand. She knew other members of the various courts saw them but she didn't care.

Piper swallowed hard as she listened to Dante and watched the interaction between D and the a woman he called Althena. She looked at Syd and Rose and then to Shona and Brodie and realized that her initial instinct had been on the money. Leaving Portland and coming here was a horrible idea.
"Since last night, and it's the three of us," Piper mumbled as she looked at Dante and almost wanted to burst into tears. Piper seldom cried around anyone outside her family, and while she was more comfortable with the X-Men than anyone else, now was not the time to get all weepy. "Does your cyber tech there do scans for this sort of thing? Or was it because you spent so much time around us that your internal magic meter goes off? Either way, it can't be fun."
Piper stepped back and started to look for her bag. Staying here was slowly becoming a non-option. "Why does everything always go boots up when I get around everyone here? Hasn't changed since the days of the witch hunts," she muttered before she caught sight of Phil Coulson again. "And I do not need to deal with SHIELD not SHIELD today. Dante, am I glowing or something? This is freaking me out."

"And we do not want you freaking out," Syd said as she guided Piper away from Dante in an effort to get her to calm down. "I'm just going to make sure Piper doesn't decide to cut and run," she said quietly to Dante before running back after her older sister. "I know this is all OTT, but it's us. We'll figure it out."
"Sydney, some things can't just be figured out on a wing and a prayer," Piper said as she looked at Shona and Brodie again. "The kids deserve more. Hell, we all deserve more. Isn't that what this is all supposed to be about? A bright new future or something?"
"Like I know what the brain trust has in store?" Sydney said as she raised her hands in the air and waved them around. "I'm happy to have Dante here. Even if he leaves in 10 minutes because he thinks this isn't his home. I'll just keep praying until the one we call our Dante comes home."
"And we all know you hope he is the one," Piper said as she took another deep breath and tried not to look Syd in the eye just yet. "I mean, Hayley has it much worse than you do right now. Alabama isn't exactly a small place to find someone, even if he is hunting vampires."
"Do not get me started on the ice queen there," Syd huffed as she glared at Hayley. "I'd be out of here looking for him already if I were her. Now seriously, do you really want Dante to scan you?"
"If it will make me feel less scared, yes," Piper replied as Syd just stood there shaking her head.

he started eating his meal.

"So Alex you have decided to make this dimension your home now? I think that I heard that your earth went really bad and a mutant
created a pocket dimension for mutants to live in? That must be so intense situation to go through."

"I am the lucky one to be married to you. It was always destiny, as we saw with our kids.
When their world had come to an end the universe had brought them to us and now we all have
a chance to be a family. I am also feeling honored to be able to help raise Claudette and Nicole.
I know our lives will never be normal but that is apart of being mutant and fae I suppose."
Duskk said as they sat down together with his mother Omnia sitting across the table from them.
"So much for us to celebrate this day. I have never been anymore happier than I am this day. I am just glad that no sentinels have came
crashing our special day. I am always worried about that but this was a dream come true my love." Monet responded to Duskk as she looked
over her family as she ate. Monet was feeling gratitude to have her husband, grown kids, her younger sisters and her Generation X family
and her X-Factor family but they were scattered about but she had so much gratitude for all of them being her family.

Rictor was very happy for his lover and sad when he heard and saw the reading. He was happy
for Shatterstar because this was something he has been wanting for a long time. He was sad
because he was most likely not be apart of this mission with his need to be apart of a team or
something bigger. Rictor realized they will have to be apart for some time and that hurt.
"I am so proud of you Star.. I know we will have to be apart and that will be hard for both of us.
I know it will be temporary and it will all work out in the end but I do feel sad." Rictor said as he
reached out and took a hold of Shatterstar's hand..

She looked over at Lorna and smiled with a nod before she looked down at the black flerken. "Though this looks like an Earth kitten, it's actually a Flerken. I remember when I first made these..." Althena paused for a bit before she looked back at D. "Have you been to space Daiyei? And what is his name?"
"....Dante?" Dante looked away from Sydney and Piper over to the blue haired woman holding the flerken. He didn't pay attention at first, then it clicked with what D said moments earlier.
"I apologize for the magic scare, but you can stop staring at me now." At that moment, Althena's voice began to crackle and her voice returned to that of Marcela's.
"Oops, sorry about that, she pops up sometimes. But I'm with Polaris, what's the cutie little alien cat's name?" Marcela asked as she started to snuggle the flerken and give it kisses on the face.

Cair was happy that Rose and Santo got married today. More good news for everyone was a joy they seldom experienced.
The stuff going on around Kari and Nathan, on the other hand, was freaking her out a bit. She had not interacted with Dante and Daiyei much in the past, and she had not exactly been pals with the MacLeods. That was what life was like on the X-Men. Some people you saw every day. Others you saw once in a very blue moon. This was one of those days when everyone was here, so there was bound to be drama of some sort.
Cair was going to do her very best to keep it away from her family.
"Congratulations, Rose and Santo!" Cair said as she lifted a wine glass in toast to them. "Congratulations to all the happy couples today!"
Cair smiled at Logan before turning to see that Seth was still with Gabby. "Maggie and Glynis are going to be pissed they missed this. Jack is Jack. He's not a big fan of weddings. That's probably why he wasn't at ours." Cair had learned a long time ago that the Kinsellas were an odd lot. Maybe not as odd as the MacFeorais group, but odd enough.
