Hope sat for a moment observing everything around her.. It was strange to see her father and
mother dancing and a few feet away Omnia talking to a ghost like astral form of Apocalypse
that only telepaths could see.. It kind of tripped her out but then she saw Colossus and Enya
open the gate doors to the refugees now joining the party.. It made Hope happy to see them
because she and the X-Men were fighting for them and now they can have a much needed
time of celebration.. She reached out grabbed both Goldball's and Elixir's hands..
"Come on guys let's get out of the dancefloor!" Hope spouted out as she pulled the boys out
of their seat with Tempus joining them..

refugees that were now on the dancefloor and even hugged a few..

"Come on everyone! It's time to go crazy on the dancefloor and show everyone what you got!" Glob shouted out as he ran to the dance
floor and began to breakdance. Too everyone's surprise he was very good.
"All yah did not know I had the moves!"
slipped off his suit jacket and laid it across the his chair..
"Well babe someone needs to be put into their place by the Juggernaut.." He said as he made
his way over to Glob..
"Okay brother time to get your ass handed too.." Cain said as he started to breakdance in a
aggressive challenge to Glob.. "You got what it takes to take on the Juggernaut.." |

“Congrats my brother!” Kurt said as he gave his half brother Gallion a big hug and then Jubilee
before he made his way over to his wife Suprema..
“Mein Liebchen would you like to accompany me to the dance floor?” He asked as he went into a
bow with one hand extended to her and the other around his back..
and threw her arms around him and planted a big kiss.

Gallion joined Jubilee and blew a kiss to his daughter as he felt grateful in this moment.. He then
looked over and saw his father Doctor Nemesis standing up and clapping with happiness and joy..
Then he did the one thing he promised himself not to do.. He looked over to Mystique his birth
mother and saw a smile on her face as she joined in with the crowd and clapped which surprised
him a lot.. He turned to his best man his brother Duncan who also looked surprised..
a sister even before the wedding.” He said to the newly wed couple as everyone was heading to the
dance floor. He then waved to Bobby to come join them.
“Now as your best man duties for your brother is over I hope I can have you all to myself now.” Bobby grabbed Duncan’s hand and lead him out
onto the dance floor. |

Pixie blew kisses to the married couples as most of them were her family as she performed as one of Dazzler’s back up singers. Both
Duskk and Everly were family she was looking forward to get to know more. Her other half sisters wanted nothing to do with her and
she was okay with that. Everly felt more like a sister to her then they ever could. Megan was very happy and was having the time of
her life and looking forward to joining Everly and Quentin after the show. She could not believe that Quentin was now her cousin in law
now. Life was funny that way.

“I will always feel the shame of failing my first students the Hellions. I had got myself in my own way and I was not as a good teacher
and mentor to them as I had thought at the time. I learned how to do that with my Generation-X students with Shawn at our school.
It hurts that we lost Everett and then later Angelo. I think about them everyday and I wish they were here to see this. Today I feel
like a proud mother to see my kids get married. And they are my kids just as much as my flesh and blood. Today is a good day.”
Emma said to Priest as she stayed in her seat and took a drink from a flask made of diamonds.

“So big guy, do you think our day will be as big as this? I mean we just had a wedding at the bottom of the ocean at a part of what
used to be a part of Atlantis. How can we top that?” Rose brought up to Rockslide as they danced together. She was very curious
what Santo would say as he would surprise her with ideas he had and how he saw things. It was part of the reason she loved him.

“Come join us as we have an announcement from the Professor that will change the future for all of us later today!” Warren announced
after Colossus spoke to the refugees after Enya and him open the gates. Warren and the rest of X-Corp were working hard to carve out
a future for all mutants and the refugees were apart of that hard work.

Jean Paul stood with Milo, Kyle and turned to his sister.
“Jeanne you asked me not to long ago about what it was like being with the X-Men and different it was then being with Alpha Flight. I
started out as an active member of the X-Men team and then a teacher. Later I was just doing the teaching. It’s all of this that makes
it different. It’s the mutant community and being apart of something that feels bigger then you. I loved my time with Alpha Flight and
a lot of good memories but here my life is more fuller and that is what I want for you.” Northstar said to his sister as he waved at a few
of the refugees that were waving at him. He had been apart of a few of the rescue missions and saved many of them.

“Well brother I have always took in everything you have told me over the years but being here and seeing all of this has me really
understand the emotions behind your words. I see how the students look at you. I see how respected you are. I now get it brother
and I am really happy to be here.” Jeanne Marie responded back as she looked over her brothers shoulder at another mutant that
caught her eyes.
“So is that Logan’s son?” She asked as she motioned to Daken. Jean Paul nodded that it was.
“I should not be rude and introduce myself.” She said as she walked over to Daken.
“Hello!, I am Jeanne Marie also known as Aurora and I am an old friend of your fathers.” She introduced herself as she held out her
hand to him.

“Mon Cherie JJ would you like to company me out to the dance floor and honor me with a dance?” Fantomex said as he stood up and held
out his hand to JJ with a small bow. "Oh, you better believe it!" JJ said to Fantomex as they headed to the dance floor. "Today just keeps getting better and better," she said as Fantomex twirled her around as they listened to Dazzler sing. "I have not had this much fun in ages, and I owe it all to you. And if anyone says any different, I'll cuff'em!"
JJ was smiling more than she had in ages. Life on the road with the Gordster was fine, but she missed being in the middle of things and mixing it up a bit. OK, well, maybe not mixing it up like she had with those mutant-hating loonies, but the fun mixing it up? Yeah, that she missed.
"Here's to more days like this," JJ said as she smiled at Fantomex. "To the bright and the beautiful. The happy and the playful. To us all!"

"That was magnificent," Ewan said softly to Jessie as he watched her gesture of love for her father and new stepmother. He could feel his family all around watching him, waiting for the now likely overdue introductions, but Jessie being with her family to celebrate was much more important at the moment. "And now you have a new little brother, too. This is going to be such a marvelous beginning for everyone. I am happy to be here to be a part of it with you," he added as he reached over and gave her a kiss.
It amazed Ewan that the Family of X was connected in so many ways. Family bonds, for the most part anyway, brought strength and harmony to the world as a whole.
"And even if they sometimes drive me crazy, I am glad most of my family will get to meet you today, Jessie."
Jessie said with a smile as she lead him to the dance area. Ewan smiled at Jessie as he stopped for a moment and surveyed the room. His family did amount to a small army, and he was sure some of them would make it to the dance floor soon. "Yes, let's find a spot before all the good ones are taken," he said as he took Jessie's hand and led her onto the dance floor. He spied his nephew Colin zeroing in on the bar and shook his head. "I pray that we all find our happiest of places today," he said softly as he twirled Jessie to the music. {{Colin, if you need to talk later, come find me}} he said to his nephew as he continued to dance with Jessie.
As they danced, Ewan let his eyes wander to Hayley. She seemed calmer, but her aura showed that she was still troubled by whatever was going on with Dante, D and, he was guessing, Adrian in absentia. The hovering members of the Clan MacLeod did not seem to be making matters better nor worse. That might have been a blessing in disguise.
"I wish this could go on forever," Ewan said as he twirled Jessie again. |
