Alison gave Doctor Nemesis the middle finger when he started ranting about her music. It was not the first or will it be the last
time she would hear about it. Honestly it did not bother her much and at times kind of funny how he rants about her music. When
she gave the middle finger she smiled at him before walking to the dance floor and began to dance and fill the dance floor with a
spectrum of lights all around. Dazzler was pleasantly surprised how lovely Roslea's voice was and how inspired she was by it.

"Hey, Fabio, nice to meet you, too," Scarlett replied as she shook his hand. "Yeah, it is a really, really long story, but I'm Citian's twin."
Scarlett was still not the best at social stuff, but she was going to try her best not to get too weird or too creepy. No one needed her being a mini Siofra. "How long have you been with the team? I've been away with my great grandma, so I missed a lot."
As she stopped for a second, Scarlett looked at Hope and smiled. "I asked Hope to introduce me to her friends because I want to get to know everyone. I'm just sort of nervous about everything. I used to be..."
Scarlett took a deep breath before she continued to speak. "I used to be not so nice. I want to change that." She had no clue if anyone knew her past or not beyond the team leaders. She did not want to just start spouting off all that drama. Her parents had always told her she had been taken advantage of by telepaths a lot stronger than she was. She had to finally start believing it and moving forward.
"I feel lucky to have a second chance at redeeming myself after the things that I have done. Mental health is a thing that needs to be
addressed with all the crap that we go through. So if Cable is my nephew and he is your father how does that fall in how we are related?
I am still learning family dynamics. Sorry for being rude I am Gabriel Summers the younger brother of Scott and Alex. You might of heard
of me by my mutant name, Vulcan.""Uncle Gabriel!" Scarlett shouted as she gave him a hug. "And I hope I did not make you spill your wine. Sorry. I think I am your niece once removed? It gets so confusing. I'm just happy you're here. We all need family more than ever."
As she blinked her eyes for a moment, Scarlett took in everything Vulcan said. "I was...locked in a sanatorium for a few years before my great grandmother on Mom's side got me out of that place. They were not about anyone's mental health. Trust me on that one. I plan to talk to the command staff about that place, and I hope I can get Jordan over there to join me. They had her there, too. It was a nightmare."
Scarlett then thought for a minute about her mutant name. Dark Mother of the Askani was not about to cut it. "Vulcan. I like that name. It's strong. I don't really have one anymore because it doesn't fit who I am. I need to think about that one," she added as she looked at a few people looking at Uncle Gabriel a little too much. "What do you think about being this far down in the ocean? You were in space, right? How do the two compare?"
Scarlett looked back at Hope and Fabio as Citian and Rysta were talking, likely about Jett. "Have you guys been in space? I mean before the casino tonight?"

growth of the team and as a people. How the X-Men and mutants in this current environment is not sustainable. We need to evolve
and push forward. We will need more places like this dome for all the mutant refugees we will be rescuing in the days to come. I
think that the Professor and Magneto have a plan to move us forward that will be very bold. The X-Men are not the Avengers as they
a lot more to tackle. We need to be more then what we are now. That is what I am feeling and needs a conversation. So what do you
think this is going?" The last time anyone had mentioned The Avengers to her among the X-Men, it wasn't in any sort of good way. The fact Fantomex acknowledged that they were the ones who went after the so-called big threats was pretty damned refreshing. "You are right about us not going after the same kinds of things The Avengers do. And I know a boatload of X-Men are or were Avengers. But in general they do not have to think about refugees or where to house them, their general care and stuff. Even if Stark has more money than God, they really do not get into things on such a personal level most of the time."
JJ thought for a minute, and she guessed one person might know what was going to happen tomorrow. "I know he won't unzip his lips on this stuff, but I bet Hollywood knows what his Dad plans to say tomorrow. With everyone here, it has to be a bold move. You are right on that one. I mean, we have that reporter Kari knows sitting over there talking to Magneto. She's an ally, sure, but it seems like some big move to have a member of the press here in the middle of things. And that space guy O'Neill was wandering around. I wonder if that means a push back into space for the team? The possibilities are endless."
As JJ mulled over all the possible things that could happen, she smiled at Fantomex. "I'm just glad we aren't going to miss this one! You excited yet? Even just a little? Or are you going to play it cool like you usually do?"

David also joined Gabby with motioning with his hands for Daken and his family to come join them.

Laura gave a chuckle.
Laura laughed.. She then looked around for Sid and did not see him and felt concerned.. After Romulus
was removed by Apocalypse Sid had been very distant and she hoped that everything was okay..
After being reassured that his mom was ok with the old wolf's death, or as his mom put it, his forced vacation; Sid knew he had to let his girlfriend know that he was doing fine. And that all was well.
He slipped up behind Laura after she'd turned back to David and wrapped his arms around her waist. "Sorry for worrying you cara, I had to check on mom." He said in her ear as he nuzzled her neck. |

"That was an ex of mine that I had not seen in ages.. I should not be so surprised with all the different ex's I have with the X-Men.." He chuckled as he gave John a friendly nod back. They had a long friendship that stretched back before the X-Men or Excalibur. Pete was happy to see that John was here and doing well. They both had some crazy stories to tell back in the day..
"I always find myself in a strange way when I am among the X-Men community but I have a feeling it's not going to be the last."
She looked around and studied the people she'd once lived with, that was before she'd returned to England with Pete to help him with his work and to get her name cleared with the Scotland Yard. That had been a harrowing few months waiting on the crown to decide if she was going to be tried for a murder that she didn't commit, or believe her that she'd seen every thing that happened on the other side of a mirror that she'd been standing in.
It wasn't until her father had shown up and explained the way Sidhe powers worked; and that they really weren't mutant powers at all, more like innate magic. She'd been told that she would have to work for the crown as a liason for her father's people. If it meant she didn't have to go to Askham Grange in North Yorkshire she was all for it.
Her attention was pulled from the past as she heard Knick grumble from her shoulder. "No Knick you can't go and chomp on the diamond lady." She told the wyvern with a laugh. |

"Well that sounds pretty useful in a fight, as long as you know, there aren't any bombs or a warehouse full of old crates with questionable contents." He slid into the seat across from her, leaning close to be heard over the music and revelry. "I... well I pull things out of books. I don't have a very good grasp of it yet, so some weird things have happened, like spending a week trying to figure out how to put a talking cat back into the book it came from."
She smirked at the young man across from her. "I think that's right useful to, maybe not the having a talking cat around. But you could pull the Vorpal Sword from Alice in Wonderland, or even the Bandersnatch. The imagination of others could be a dangerous thing to use as a weapon." She was grinning as she said the last part, it caused her face to take on a far more youthful appearance. Almost as if the cares of the world hadn't been placed on her shoulders for that one moment. |

"Hah," Ray couldn't help but laugh from the man's question. He had a way of not being direct while being direct at the same exact time. "That's something my uncle would say," he quickly added. Ray shifted his body to get a better look at the man and quickly realized that he didn't recognize him. Sure, when he was an X-Man, he wasn't friends with everyone, but he could at least be familiar with faces. This person probably popped up in the time he'd been away. "You must be new if you don't know the stories," He paused for a moment as he tried not to get visibly angry over his own thoughts. "But we can always start with some people thinking it's a good idea to hang out with the psychopath who nearly killed me when I was a kid like that's a good idea." |

Roslea noticed that Exodus was motioning for the younger students to leave, so she decided that this would be the last number of the night. The family and their friends had been on that stage a good long while, and everyone was likely a bit spent after all the revelry.
"Thank you everyone for joining in the spirit of friendship and love this evening! It has been ages upon ages since the lot of us have gotten up to sing and play, and your good vibes made it that much more enjoyable. I hope we have many more days and nights ahead of us to sing and dance and grow as a family!"
As she turned around to see who had stayed on the stage, she knew the final song to play. "This one has a bit more of a rock vibe in spots, so I hope this will end the evening in a way that everyone enjoys! Family of X, please join us for The Circle!"

Seth tried his best to imitate Wade's dance moves and failed miserably. "You guys are great!" Seth said to Wade and Gabby as they seemed to keep up with each other really well. Seth decided to do his own dance moves, and while he didn't have the same crazy style as Deadpool, he managed to enjoy whatever he was actually doing! "I am not sure what this dance is or if it even has a name, but I'm having fun!" he said as he moved his arms all over the place and spun around where he was standing.
As he looked back toward his parents, Seth got a big smile on his face. "Gabby, I never thought I'd see that. They actually look happy. They really, really do."

"Apocalypse." Ray didn't pause when he was asked about the person who tried to kill him. He wasn't scared or ashamed to say it. En Sabah Nur didn't scare him anymore. Even if the old mutant still had the power to kill him, Ray would still fight him if he had to. "I'm sure you've heard of him. I'm sure you've seen one of our big fights with him on the news. He's not the type to do things unseen."
Ray took a deep breath to calm down before looking back at the man. Ray could tell that he'd seen some things in his life, but he didn't seem jaded like he'd been in some fights with the X-Men quite yet. "Who brought you on? Did they see you on the street or are you a trauma refugee like far too many people here?" |

haunting me. The undiscovered possibility of knowing my life is about to be different then it is now is exciting and dancing around

"I am in love with this place. I am so glad that Namor and Jean made this place for refugees. Besides it being so beautiful it would
be hard for anyone coming down to cause trouble. It's a mutant sanctuary that is apart of the Atlantis Kingdome which put's it
under the protection of Namor and his army. Very tactically smart." Betsy said as both Betsy and Saber danced in the air close
to the dome wall so both of them could take in the sea life as they danced.

am very lucky that my brother, dad and younger siblings did not give up on me. Then I met
you and you just came out and both of us found one another. I thank you Mister Drake for
being my light in the darkness." Duncan said as Iceman and him continued their dance.
"I feel the same way about you. I have been fighting for the future my whole life but this is the first time that I feel like I had a
future to fight for. I have tried to get here in this place in my head for a very long time but this is the first time that I feel like

force in keeping our people alive. Sadly the world is still a threat to us and more sanctuaries like this
one in Atlantis will be needed. I hope this is an issue the Professor will talk about tomorrow." Milo said

That is why I keep coming back to the X-Men. Every time I went back to Alpha Flight I keep running into the problem and I needed
to do more. When I first joined I was on the team and then I went in a direction I never thought in a million years I would do, I
became a teacher. Everyone that knows me would think it was a joke especially my sister. But Logan of all people talked me into
it and it has been a very important part of my growth as a mutant." Jean-Paul moved in closer to Milo as a slower song began.
"But to be honest I hope whatever comes next I will be more active in the field. I have that itch to do more and get in on the action."
