Aisling blinked as the young man spoke to her. She studied him for a few minutes and finally spoke, "Aisling, and yea I'm not a party person so this is all... ...meh...for me. Didn't have much to party about when I was growing up. So what brings you to the wacky world of the X-men?" she asked. "Jeeze, don't I know that feeling." Liam said, shaking his head. "Funny story, that. Actually, it's really not. My sister and I got kidnapped by some bad guys and these guys saved us, and a ton of other mutants. We didn't really have much to go back to so we decided to hang here and see what came of it. Not that I think I will ever be of any real use, but hey,maybe they need a librarian." |

Modem chuckled at banter between Alice and Damien. "Hmm...Oh yeah I was helping with the Jellies when we went down to the newer city. Though most of the time I can say that he's Goose to my Maverick when we have to do something in the Blackbird."
Elizabeth plucked the wine glass from Bradley's hand. "Ok you I think the mixing of Atlantian wine and Fey wine don't mix well." she teased him.
Nemesis had consumed.. He did not resist her taking the glass from his hand he just waved (Goodbye) to
it.. It was at that moment he really noticed the music and turned very fast to look at the stage at Karenza's
family on the stage performing..
"Oh yes this is music!.. Not like that God awful stuff that comes out of Dazzler's mouth!.. I mean disco was
like a wrecking ball to the soul and Dazzler just made it worst by keeping it going no matter how modern
she made it's the same bloody dribble.. And this is true music and I don't know it's the mushroom's mixed
with the wine but I want to dance!.. Do you want to dance Elisabeth? I bet I can surprise you with some
moves!.." Bradly smiled as he moved his body to the beat of the music.. |

Cordy had wandered off shortly after her arrival to the festivities. She slowly made her way back to where she'd left Wisdom, and was surprised to find him chatting up someone. Cordy wasn't sure who the woman was but the vibe she got from watching Wisdow was shock. "Hey you," she said to let the man know she was back.

John looked toward Wisdom and then toward Dana as he set down the violin. "Oh, I forgot. Apologies, petal," he said to Dana as she glared at the mage-for-hire.
"It was my decision, and he's moved on," Dana said as she waved toward Pete from the stage. John saw her wince and knew that she had more or less cut the man's psychic link off. John had shut doors like that himself, and it always sucked. "Where are you wandering to? Sister is still dancing," Dana said to John as she pointed up toward Kari and Nathan. "Roslea, think we could muster up the lot to do Avalon?"
Now it was John's turn to wince as he picked up Kari's violin again. Avalon, the place and not the song, was a very touchy subject for the man. Too many burned bridges. Too much pain. Never good enough to stay all too long on the Holy Isle. But this lot was almost family, so if they wanted another song, so be it.
"I'm game," he said as he took a sip of his faerie wine before getting into position again. "But I'm not as good as Herself is with this one," he added as he pointed up at Kari.

"We can join everyone in the air or stay grounded?" Monet asked Duskk as she stood up and offered her hand. She saw his Fairy
wings stretch out as they both took to the air holding hands.
"I know that there is nothing perfect but today has been for me a perfect day and tomorrow I will be your wife so tomorrow will
be perfect too." She said to Duskk as she laid her head on his shoulder as he put his arms around her.
everyone will remember. Tomorrow we will be married and a new phase in our lives and in a way a new
beginning. It feels like everything is lining up together into a perfect bow." Duskk said as he loved feeling
Monet in his arms. He felt very blessed. |

Quentin held out his hand to Everly as he looked up at everyone who was dancing above them.
"Come on my lady let's show them how this is really done!" Quentin said as once Everly grabbed a hold of his hand they both
flew up into the air dancing circles around everyone.
"This reminds me of the space disco!"
she joined hands with Quentin and both of them just spinned around in a circle locking into one another's
eyes.
"It does not mean we can not have some that too." She said as her skin began to darkened into space
and stars across her body. Her mutant self tied her to the cosmos. |

Jen-Paul and Milo flew up into the air and began to dance in the air above the dancefloor as the second song began.
"It's been such a long time since I have seen everyone this happy! We had suffered and lost so much over the years and now a
lot of our people have returned home and feel like this is just the beginning of something. Most likely next week we will be in some
sort of fight for our lives but today and right now I can see where our strength comes from." Northstar said to Milo as they moved

Bobby and Duncan found themselves on the dancefloor dancing to beautiful music. Iceman looked his boyfriend in the eyes and
gave him a smile.
"For the first time in my life I have been honest with myself and accepted my truth. I have fallen in love with you and since we
have been together everything has come together and everything feels right to me. I am not just in love with you but I am in
love with the life we are creating together." He said to Duncan as they danced.
am very lucky that my brother, dad and younger siblings did not give up on me. Then I met
you and you just came out and both of us found one another. I thank you Mister Drake for
being my light in the darkness." Duncan said as Iceman and him continued their dance. |

gathering the other students their age and preparing them to head off to their tents for the night..
He was heading in their direction and it made Gabby a bit nervous until Laura's whistle..
"Oh Thank God!" She said as she grabbed Seth's hand and tugged him along over to their big sister..
She then did the same whistle that Laura did towards Daken's table and waved for him and his family
to come join them. |

different ex's I have with the X-Men.." He chuckled as he gave John a friendly nod back. They
had a long friendship that stretched back before the X-Men or Excalibur. Pete was happy to see
that John was here and doing well. They both had some crazy stories to tell back in the day..

As John was nattering away, and just before she broke their mental link, Dana did manage to get out a {{Good on you, Pete. The Queen is lucky to have you}} bit before she closed that final door with Wisdom. She then turned back to John and wanted to rail at the man to stay out of her business.
John and Pete went back a few years. Not as far back as John and Kari, but enough to have a raft of stories to tell around a big bottle of whiskey one night. She knew most of them anyway, so she'd skip that bender if asked. John was odd that way.
"Well, Avalon then?" Dana asked Roslea as she flipped the tambourine back and forth in her hands. "Or do you have something a bit bouncier for this lot? They may not actually want to stop dancing...shut the bloody door!"
Dana looked up to actually see Hayley dancing. Would wonders never cease?

"Hmmm... Claire thought for a moment as she listened to both Hayley and Sydney speak. She didn't think for very long since she kept getting distracted by the music. While they had their own back and forth, Claire decided to down a glass or two of wine herself. It wasn't a smart move since she hadn't had alcohol in ages, but she wanted to indulge herself. a bit. "Forget about Ray," she interjected to the women as she made a waving motion with her hand, "He's fine. I, on the other hand, have a brilliant idea. And you're both going to hate me for it." Everyone else was off having a good time, and with the three of them looking like wallflowers seemed out of place. And now that she was feeling refreshed and knew she was going to be drunk soon, Claire used her TK to float into the air and toward the dance floor, dragging Sydney and Hayley along with her as she started to dance. "You may not be able to carry a tune, but you're gonna dance your ass off!" Claire wasn't on beat, but she was dancing in the air like the world depended on it. "I like this idea!" Sydney giggled as she and Hayley floated along with Claire and started to dance. "I haven't done this since..."
Sydney tried to think back to the last time she danced for the sake of having a good time and not for some arcane ritual as the sole reason.
"Since I have no damned clue when!" Sydney actually, for once in the greatest of whiles, felt free. She wasn't looking to see if Dante and D were OK. She wasn't making sure Hayley did not do something they both would regret later. Hayley had been doing that a hell of a lot lately, even if she and the great Clan Mac would not admit it.
Syd was not even looking around for some weird demon or rogue preternatural being.
She was just dancing.
"Claire, we need to do this more often!" Syd shouted as she looked down at the stage area. "Holy shitaki mushrooms! Michael Priest and Emma Frost dancing? What would their name be?"
"Name?" Hayley asked. "Oh no. Like Bennifer?"
"Yup. I am too drunk to care at the moment, but I bet it would be epic!" Sydney giggled again as she tried not to bump into anyone.

Emma snapped at Shaw as she put her glass down as she knew that this wasgoing to set Sebastian off.."I have already picked our Red Queen and the Captain of our fleet and she just accepted myoffer just now." Emma said as Kitty reached out with her mind to Emma with a simple (Yes).."What!?" Spouted Shaw.. Why do you think your the one to make this decision without talking
to me!" Yelled Shaw.."Michael and I already discussed it so you would have been out voted anyway!" Emma said toSebastian to Michael Priest's surprised because Emma did not talk to him about it and took himby surprise but he did not show it.."Michael would you like to dance I think Shaw's company is not going to be to healthy for mymental well being.. I want to leave this table before he makes a fool of himself with his temper!"Emma said as Priest took her hand and hurried with her to the dance floor just as Shaw beganto use colorful language towards her.."Thank you Michael." Michael chuckled as he took Emma to the dance floor. "First, my apologies. My son Finn, who is wandering the dome with his sister Faith, reminded me that Sam Guthrie and Roberto DaCosta are Avengers now. Roberto's business acumen will be more to Stark's liking, I'm sure, and it should calm the waters a tad. Now, as to your choice for Red Queen..."
Priest looked at Kitty dancing with Sam Witwicky above the dance floor and nodded his approval to Emma. "I would have backed you on that one without question. Sebastian's bellowing would not have changed my mind. Kitty is the sort of highly intelligent individual Hellfire needs in our ranks. And with Jack Sparrow serving as a consultant of sorts, I am sure Kitty will have no trouble getting her crew set to rights. Or do you have other plans for Captain Sparrow?"
As another song started, Michael stayed with Emma on the dance floor. "Would you like to join the others up there, or are you fine here?"
