Dylan smiled. "If we had an encounter, I'd make sure you remembered. I'm willing to prove it, if you don't believe me. The look in his eyes proved he meant every word of it.
"Ever been to the Little Geno?" Dylan used the short name for Chicago's notorious mutant only neighborhood of Little Genosha. "I spend my time fixing problems there.
Dylan suddenly became annoyed. "Or is it from that stupid article about the penguin incident? Look," Dylan became more irritated with every word. "I had nothing to do with it! That anti mutant piece of trash just chose to take a stroll in the wrong part of the zoo."
swallowed her drink. “You were involved in the Penguin incident at Geno!”
“That is crazy and why would you admit that!” She said as Deadpool looked more impressed by the reveal.
“No I have not heard of him personally.” Domino answered Outlaw.
Domino then turned to Dylan with a sly smile. "Would you like to explain this to my friend."
"Like Outlaw I think Penguins are cute and I don't want to hear a story if it goes bad for them!" Dazzler shook her head in protest of the
idea. Her imagination was too much for her at times.

A devilish grin crawled across his features. "Someone tracked him down during a trip he made to the zoo and covered him from head to toe with fish guts. The fool was so grossed out, that he stumbled backwards and tripped over the rail that blocked off the penguin habitat."
Seeing that he completely had his listeners attention, he leaned in close. "Penguins can be quite aggressive during mating season. By the time he was found in the morning, he was the real freak. Word has it that he still jumps every time he hears wings flap."
Dylan suddenly changed his expression to look as innocent as the Pope. "Somehow, he got the idea I was involved and told the fuzz. Needless to say, I was cleared of all charges."
Eager to change the subject, he turned to Dazzler. "Do you know any Reba?"

Fantomex put his feet down from the table and sat up and looked at the pictures on JJ’s phone.
“Sorry for your loss that must be hard but Gordie looks like a good companion.” He took a drink and slumped over the table over his food.
“Well I was in the astral plane and gave the Professor my body so he could escape from the Shadow King and back to the world of the living
and I had a whole thing where I had to retake a cloned body of mine running around. A long complicated story but that is the basics. I am glad
you made it back it has been a long time. I seem to forget how long it has been as time has become a blur once you grew up in a WORLD Dome.” "And damn, man, your life has not stopped one second! Bravo!" JJ said as she got up from her chair and clapped her hands, bowing to Fantomex before sitting down again. "I am freaking impressed. You make me look too damned slow!"
JJ looked at the bowl before her and thought for a hot minute about home. New Orleans was her home, along with her sister Lu, back when JJ was a kid. But after the tantalizing smell of gumbo and a few memories of Mardi Gras and breaking curfews set by their mom, NOLA was not always the best place for JJ to return to--physically or mentally. But Gambit's gumbo always took her back home, to the days before she caused the death of her low-life dad. Lu's dad was a great guy, and while their mom would not have had JJ without their divorce, JJ always knew Lu got the better end of the paternal sweepstakes. JJ's dad was an abuser and an all-out loser, but she still wished he hadn't died. Prison for the old bastard would have been her choice, but manifesting powers don't always discriminate and usually cause no end of trauma in the wrong circumstances.
"How long have I been gone?" JJ said as she poked at her food for a minute. "Years? I sort of lost track of things..." JJ said as she looked back toward the bottle on the table. "Part of that time I self medicated. Without a really big reason not to drown my supposed sorrows, I sort of got messed up on and off while I was away. The hilarious part is that I was actually sober most of the time. I'm not an alcoholic. I'm an adrenaline junkie. I kept getting into fights in bars. Bigoted asshats. Part of that was losing Redemption. You are right on that one. Gordie keeps me in check. And the lady shrink that just joined the team wants me to stop by. Wheee. I'm thrilled. Maybe actually being around people I like more will help. I don't need a babysitter or a sober coach. I just need to matter to the greater cause, I guess. And I need to get the hell out of my own stupid head."
JJ had not been this "real" around anyone in ages. It felt damned good.
She took a glass of water that was sitting nearby, giving the liquor a nudge down the table a bit. "Thanks for actually giving a damn, Fantomex."

Both Gabby and Seth were laughing out loud when they saw Nightcrawler take their dad's beer and drank it
after his speech..
"Hi Shalimar!.. I am looking forward to getting to know you better!. We have a lot of family still trying to know
one another.. I am glad your here and I want to learn more about you!"
Shalimar smiled before hearing Daken say the same thing. It made her happy to know she had a family here. She sat down and introduced herself.
"Thanks guys. Well obviously you know my dad but my mom's Kari. The other thing that's unique about me is....Well....Better I'd I show you."
She said as her hand was surrounded by fiery colored goo forming sharp talons. Just as quickly as it appeared it vanished.
"I'm merged on a genetic level with a symbiote. Scream is my alter ego. I think there is a similar person in this reality with this unique trait?"

"Guys, mind if I ask one of the lost pups to join us?" Kendra said to Jono and Japh as she saw Ashvin coming over. "Ashvin! You made it! And so did Princess Sparkle Grumpus!"
"Oh no..." Ashvin said quietly as he walked over toward Kendra. He "knew" Chamber and Maggott but had never met them. "Kendra, Chetna is in a mood..."
"Big surprise! She needs faerie wine..." Kendra chuckled as she motioned for Ashvin to take two seats across from her, Jono and Japh. "Park it, Chet! Time to wine!"
((Don't worry, Jono. I'm not nuts)) Kendra thought back in her link to her boyfriend. ((Chetna is a good person, but she has a rod stuck up her...you get the idea))
"Guys, this is Ashvin Jahan and his sister Chetna. They are some of Ma's kids from..."
"From another reality that got tossed here a few years ago," Ashvin said as he extended his hand to first Jono and then Japh. "I worked for X-Corp for a bit, and Chetna had the misfortune of joining SHIELD right when they got stupid about mutants. Bunch of idiots."
Chetna grumbled before she took a sip of wine. "What is this?"
"Faerie wine!" Kendra said with a giggle. "Babe, I'll cool it on the sipping," she said with as smile to Jono. "I better eat, I guess."

Chetna nodded to those around her before she pushed the wine glass away from her. "I don't usually drink..."
"You don't usually have fun, of any kind," Ashvin said as his sister glared at him. "Sri, on the other hand..."
"Our sister who may be a pirate queen on some backwater planet in the Shi'ar Empirium, according to Emma Frost's new friend Jack Sparrow," Chetna added as she shook her head. "Please. Give me a break."
"You never give yourself one..." Ashvin said before he felt a well-placed elbow hit him in the ribs. "Ow! Did you sharpen those?"
"Very funny," Chet said as she rolled her eyes. "I'm glad you gentlemen are here, and Eany and Meany as well," she added as she took a deep breath. "Then maybe I won't pound my brother into the ground for being a bit too annoying tonight."
"And you won't beat Kendra?" Ashvin asked as Chetna laughed.
"She'd hit me with her mace," Chetna said as Kendra nodded. "Remember, I sparred with her once a long time ago."
"A very long time ago," Kendra replied as she dug into her gumbo. "You were working with Phil Coulson then, right? If SHIELD is gonzo, where did he go?"
"CIA. He'll be just fine there," Chetna said as she looked at some of the fruit on the table. "They are not hiring mutants right now, and that means I'm out of luck. So, what are you guys doing here now?" she asked Japh and Jono. "I mean, I've sort of lost touch with the command and team set-up here now."

Syd looked at Claire for a full minute before she thought about answering. "Uhm, is anyone here on speaking terms with the Fantastic Four? I have no clue...and is paging Galactus such a great idea anyway?"
Being a magical person, Sydney counted herself lucky that she had not gone into a fight with the Devourer of Worlds. Guys like Stephen Strange did that stuff all the time. He could have that privilege.
"I'm not used to all this cosmic stuff, so maybe I am the least equipped to deal with it," she said to Claire before turning to Hayley. "Miss Danu over here might be another story..."
"Sydney, I have no idea what happens on the cosmic level, especially when the goddess is not pulling my strings, so to speak," Hayley said as she finally got a glass of faerie wine. "That is for the Phoenix holders to deal with. I can always speak to my sister..."
"Ah, nope," Syd replied as she violently shook her head. "Kari on a good day is one thing. Kari after your freako grandmum was running around in her head? No way. My Gramms was tough. She took no quarter in a fight. Your grandmum is like a box of nukes set to go off at once. Kari after having that whacko in her head? I say pass, pass and pass!"
"Then, I guess we wait?" Hayley asked both women as she finally took a sip of wine.

"Dad!" Alice shouted as she jumped up and down so her father, Dr. Bradley, could see her. "Where are you planning to sit? We can meet you over there!" As she looked for her brother Damien, Alice could not help but smile when she saw so many old faces back with the X-Men. There were a couple she did miss that were still not here, but she hoped they would make their way back soon. She unfolded her clockwork wings and lifted up enough to try to find her brother. "He's looking at the sharks. I should not be so surprised, but I am," she said to those around her--whether they were listening or not. Everyone was having way too much fun to be hearing everything. "Damien! You can't win a staring contest with a fish!" she shouted to her brother as she flew off in his direction. "Dad, I'll get Damien!" "We will be joining your brother Gallion and his family.. So little flower go get your brother and bring him
on over!" Bradly said to his daughter as she ran off.. He then held up his bottle of Fae wine and continued
to talk to it as he walked over to where Revolver and Jubilee were sitting..
"Should we find our seat so we continue tasting your lovely essence inside of me.. My body already loves
the healing affect upon it.. I wonder what I can do with grapes on the Krakoa vines.. Oh yes I can do wonderful
things.. Krakoan wine is going to happen for sure!"
wine.. More that things change the more they stay the same..” Gallion and Jubilee both laughed
as Bradley just rolled his eyes and sat down..
“Seriously I am glad your here dad.. I know we have not talked to much because you been locked
away at your lab most of the time.. We need to have more family time..” |

“All I can say about what I know is that the future looks bright for our people and that I will be busy using all my skills like my brain.
I know what the Professor is going to reveal tomorrow and I am curious to see how all of this unfolds.” Monet said to everyone sitting
around her but how the table was set up everyone could hear her. She then walked over to Sabretooth who was standing by himself.
“Victor come sit with my family! You know if you do anything stupid and I know your not, I will rip your spine through your mouth. You
know I have the power and the ability to do it! So please sit down and get some food in you!”
Monet then sat down beside Dukkk and leaned over and kissed his cheek lightly before taking her first bite of gumbo.
Duskk kissed Monet right back and then chuckled to himself when she invited and threaten Sabretooth
at the same time. Duskk respected the friendship Monet has with Creed but he did not like him much
but tried to be respectful for her.
“Whatever the future has for us I have a feeling we will be a lot more busy then we have ever been. I
wonder what the future has planned for all of us.”

“So Blink and Chamber are descendants to Apocalypse so does that make them related to you my love?” Quentin asked Everly as he ate.
“Apocalypse’s seed sure got around. Blue lips is like a hundred great grandfather to them and your grandfather. Blink looks one hundred percent
like she could be your family but Chamber I don’t know.” Quentin kept talking as he thought about his new family dynamic.
“I don’t know I can see Jono as family. If you look into his eyes you can see it. Blink does for
sure looks like she could be family right now. Our family dynamic is an interesting one for sure.
I wonder if we will ever meet the original four horseman of Apocalypse since they are family.”
Everly said as she thought about seeing them in Omnia’s memory.

A small puff of purple smoke appeared around Logan's hand and his bottle of beer was gone..

Nightcrawler ported to the middle of the table standing with Logan's beer being held by Kurt's
tail..
"I would like to make a toast to all those that have returned to us even if it is for a short time..
We welcome you with much love.. I feel very blessed when I look around and see all of you..
And to all the new faces among the crowd I also welcome you to our family.. And all of us here
are family we earned that!.. So Blessings!" Nightcrawler then took Logan's beer and began to
drink it while Wolverine just gave Kurt a disappointing look and shook his head..
"Not cool Elf!" Logan spouted back at his best friend..
Piotr let out a loud belly laugh when he saw Nightcrawler snag Logan’s beer and did his speech..
It reminded Colossus of old times..
“The more things change the more they stay the same and I hope we can always be like this.” Piotr
said to Enya as he gave her a hopeful smile. He was pushing back his thoughts about what was going
on in Russia and what they were doing to mutants.. He knew at some point that he would have to be
involved in that situation..

it’s just a no go for me!. Dazzler should do some Lady Gaga something really weird and strange!.
Not that she is weird or strange.. Well all of us our weird and strange on some level.. I think weird
