Not everyone was understanding.. Rahne stood in shock and anger as she instantly transformed into her wolfoid form
and growled until she got Hollywood's attention..
"I am your sister!.. My heart broke when you both disappeared without a trace!.. Not knowing hurt me!.. I.. I had
child.. your nephew when you were gone.. He died!" JJ stood a few feet behind Rahne and felt her heart sink as she heard Wolfsbane speak about her son. She started to cry as she walked up closer to Rahne. "I am so, so sorry, Rahne," she blurted out. "I shouldn't have walked away when Lu left. I know we aren't full blood, but maybe I could have helped."
As she looked over at Lu, JJ shook her head. "Yeah, neither of us have been great about the staying in touch part. No excuse for it on my end. Better be a hell of a good reason on yours, sis. And none of that 'it was a secret mission' crapola. I can sorta accept why you ghosted me. We have never been super duper close, even when we first came to the X-Men. But leaving Rahne out in the cold? Not cool."
I can not talk about.. Lu being my wife she falls into it.. I am sorry we can not and will not talk about where we
have been and why.. I should of scent word that Lu and I were okay.. That is on me and I am really sorry about
that!.. Rahne I am so sorry about what you went through since I was gone and it breaks my heart little sister!.
All I can do is ask for your forgiveness.." |

"You know everyone that just stepped forward and tried to explain our situation and where
all of us found ourselves.. All you want to do is paint everything that we are trying to do
in a different narrative then it really is!" At this point Beast began to raise his voice and
Moira rushed over and placed her hand on his shoulder so she could help ground him a
bit..
"I'm tired and all of us are tired and doing our best and we do not need you too crap on
us when we are going out of our way to embrace you.. If your not happy here and want
to push your narrative upon us when we are just try and have a much needed good time
among our community then you can leave.. I have no clue on how you can go home but
you can not stay here if this is how your going to treat us! My children.. family.. friends
and students do not need this right now!" Lime nodded to Coraline. He didn't take Alice's outburst personally, but he also felt he'd messed up big time.
Then his father spoke his mind very loudly.
Lime couldn't blame him.
"Dad, I'm sorry. I really thought having other people from other worlds here would show that we know how tough it is. I guess my speaking abilities need work. Mom..."
"I have this," Moira said softly as she wrapped her arms around Hank. "If you need help..."
"I know. Kathy can help," Lime said before seeing Keiko there. "Keiko, would you mind?"
"Me?" the diminutive tengu said as she set down her iced tea. "Yeah. Me. I get it now."
"Coraline, this is my Aunt Keiko. I know. She's younger than me. She's from the same realm is my Great Uncle Kai. Maybe she can help since I apparently suck at this stuff."

Rahne leaped through the air and into Hollywood's arms.. He held her tightly as she just wept
in his arms.. She would forgive him as he and Lu were the only family she had beside her
New Mutant team which was her family one hundred percent..
"Don't you ever do this to me again!"

"I am so sorry this all happened," Keiko said as she bowed slightly to Coraline. "Should we run after your sister, or do you think she just needs space? What Lime said about my grandfather, sadly, is very true. And I can understand why people would fear that the X-Men might be going on some vendetta against humans...like my maternal grandfather did against mutants and humans. My home world was one where mystics were the favored race."
"But not every mystic, right?" Lime asked as Keiko nodded.
"Any that were deemed of impure blood, like vampires, were killed. That was why our Vlad Tepes raised an army against my grandfather, and why my father and the other tengu warlords went up against his as well." Keiko then realized she was likely scaring Coraline. "I'm sorry. My brother and I wound up here when a family mage helped us escape from our world. That's all you probably need to know. We are able to cross back to our world, but we choose not to do so. If you want to go home, maybe we can help you find a way?"

Kendra followed behind Jono and Japh as they made their way into X-Atlantis. "Sorry, guys, but the fam was doing my head in! I didn't mean to space out like I did. I'm glad you guys got to talk while I tried to get the rundown on who did what this time. I'm glad you made it back, Japh. It feels like everyone is coming home...shut the door."
As she stood there, Kendra saw two more of her siblings standing around looking more lost than they should have, but then again, was she the best example of fitting in all the time? "Two of my far flung sibs are here. Ashvin and Chetna. I'm starting to get one of those vibes again...I just pray I am wrong."
Kendra looked at Jono and Japh and took a deep breath. "Mind if I hang with you guys before I wade further into the Game of Thrones style drama that is Clan Mac? I smell gumbo, and that is enough reason not to get into drama just yet."
"Of course you can hang out with us.. And I know what you mean.. I lot has changed since
the last time we have been around.. I mean the students has more then doubled in size."

"Yes, I am allowed to be here! I have an invitation. I actually know people here!" a male voice shouted from up one of the pathways to the area where everyone was eating. "Chetna! Ashvin! Thank God you are here!"
Jack Sparrow was, if nothing else, complicated. Old as dirt, smooth as glass and colorful as a kaleidoscope, Jack Sparrow had indeed been around the X-Men before. He feared that he was still in trouble with a few barkeeps in San Francisco from his last time with the team.
Ladies' man who, by his own admission, needed to work on his ability to remain faithful when he did find someone who could actually love him. Check.
Accomplished sea captain. Check.
Pirate back in the days when piracy meant more than illegally downloading something. Check.
Hero? Well, he would not call himself that, but he had done a few heroic things back in the day. Partial credit on this one, savvy?
"Oh no. Not him. Not today," Chetna groaned as Jack made his way over. "Where is Sri? And she had better not be dead or in jail..."
"Your sister decided to go on her own adventures and leave Uncle Jack to his own as well," Jack said as he adjusted his regalia. "The last time I saw her, she was on a shuttle to the outer edge of Shi'ar space. I am sure she is The Pirate Queen of some space backwater by now. Now, is that any way to greet an old family friend?"
"Mother is over there," Chetna growled as she pointed in the general direction where Karenza was standing. "Do not mess things up for her, or you will answer to me. That is not a possibility. That is a certainty."
"I forget how pleasant you are. Heaven help the person that crosses you, my dear," he said as he started to walk off, but he saw Sabretooth and Mystique were nearby. "On second thought, I think I'll stay here for the moment. I do not need to get impaled or torn asunder."

"Your skill set is something I am looking for.. Are you open for an opportunity involving piracy of the sea?. I can
not say too much until after the Professor makes his announcement tomorrow.. But if what I have suggested
is an interest to you I would love to talk to you more about it." "Emma! A delight as always!" Jack exclaimed before taking the glass of rum from her hand. "And now, I bid you two adieu," he said to Chetna and Ashvin as he followed Emma to another area to chat privately. "Piracy, you say? While I am glad to hear you speak the words, I must admit they are ones I never thought I'd hear a member of the X-Men utter without spitting at me."
Jack sniffed the glass in his hand and took a sip of the rum. "You are, as always, a woman of exquisite taste. If it is possible, I'd like to bring in Cormac MacFeorais for any further chats after this one. We are business partners, and I am sure he would be open to a new venture. But if it is not a good idea to bring him in, I'll gladly defer to your judgment, Emma. His sister, and I know you know which one I am referring to, never sticks her nose in our business. That has had it's benefits."
As he looked up and behind Emma, Jack could see Michael Priest had also recently arrived for this big event. "I forgot Michael has, of late anyway, tossed his lot in with the X-Men. I know he is often looked upon as a bit of a problem, but I hope that soon becomes a thing of the past."

(Yes we have more then doubled in our students and mutant refugees from all over the world..
Unfortunately the world has grown even more hostile towards our people.. We also have a
surge in humans who support us as well.. So as things are better and worst at the same time..
Kendra I love having you around.. Your return is like the sun risen from a cold miserable day!)

"Can you smell history being made.. I have to say when Emma brought Xavier's proposal I
was very skeptical at first.. Now that we have done all this work to make all our divisions
of the Hellfire Club into The Hellfire Trading Corporation and set things up for things that
we are not allowed to talk about yet.. I feel more then optimistic about the future and the
large prophet we will make from it.." Shaw said to Priest as a lot of the X-Men looked surprised
to see them..

"No just give her some space" Coraline quickly said. "If you start crowding her she's likely to accidentally set off a energy blast or worse a Candy Blast and to be perfectly honest, the last people I want anywhere near her are Prof X and magneto. that being said if you would be willing to take a private walk with me I'd greatly appreciate it. I think it'd be easier to explain some of this stuff one on one privately."

Kitty had Sam.. Bee and Lockheed waiting for her at a table close to the Shi'ar shuttle that was
parked in the park next to the waterfalls.. Kitty phased out of the ground with two full trays
of gumbo and other foods that she had stolen from Emma's table..
"Got us our food with some special treats too.." She said as she saw Storm.. Rachel and the
others wave them on over to join them at their table in front of the shuttle..

"Well we survived Harry's and space.. Wade and Roberto delivered a fun time.. We just flew
around the casino and now this shuttle now belongs to Ghost.. It's my gift to him thanks to
Roberto's kind credit he gave us.. I am so happy both of you are here.." |
