"Hey you and I got to have our nuka break and they don't have nuka-cola in this universe."
"Maybe but couldn't you at least hold off till AFTER our guest shows hospitality besides Nuka quantum is radioactive."
"just enough to make your urine glow, just don't drink like 12 in one day and you'll be fine."
Alice looked over to beast. "What exacly is going to happen tomorrow?

"Hmm..." D took in the the sights of Atlantis after emerging from Manifold's portal. He'd lived on Earth for centuries, but hadn't seen anything that looked like Atlantis. It surprised him just how much it seemed like an alien world. But it may as well have been an alien world. Wasn't that long ago that only a handful of people on Earth even knew this place existed, so of course this place seemed alien. But having been in space, he wasn't too shocked after seeing several worlds with similar vibes. As he took in the sights, D turned toward Sam and the others, and nodded. "Thanks, but I won't need a tent. I'll sleep under one of the trees. Less cramped."
He wasn't hungry, so he didn't bother to go get food, but he started to walk toward some of the trees so he could at least put his gear down. On the way, he heard someone shout the name Dante. Immediately, Daiyei turned in the direction of the sound and immediately saw some recognizable faces as he walked in on the conversation.
"Hope is that baby you saved before you quit," D exclaimed as he walked over to the group. Almost immediately, Dante spun around, revealing his new look to his long lost friend. "You look like $#@#$."
"Hey, D. Long time..." Ray sat for a second as he thought about what D just told him, and then glanced at Dante, who didn't say anything yet.
"He's quiet because he thought you died," Claire announced as she chimed in, "Welcome back, D."
"Haven't died yet," He immediately replied to Claire before he looked back at Dante, "Why would I be dead?"
"Everyone died. You, Althena, Alucard, the whole universe died fighting in the Incursions."
"I don't know what the hell an Incursion is, but Althena being dead isn't new, Dante." There was a purr that came from D's coat as a small feline started to crawl out of his shirt and on to his shoulder. "And as far as I'm aware, Alucard isn't dead, either. I don't know where he is, but I'm sure as hell we would've felt it if he did."
"There's a kitty trying to climb on your head, D."
"It's not a cat."
"D, did you bring a flerken to Earth?" Claire asked.
"What the hell is a flerken?"
"See Dante? I'm alive, D's alive, Sydney is alive, Hayley's alive, Ray's still single. Alucard is probably alive. Althena may be gone, but we'll find out what happened to her."

"Ray! Glad you made it back! And D...thank the Goddess!" were the only words Sydney got out before the mystic Power of The Cat took over and made her into some big mush. "Aw. That kitty is so cute. And a flerken? Are you sure it isn't a kneazle?"
"That, for those not familiar, is a cat-type that is favored by wizards because they are basically furry lie detectors, so to speak," Hayley said as she nodded to D. "Welcome back, Ray and Daiyei. I doubt that is a kneazle. A flerken? That I cannot say for certain..."
Sydney was going to go off on the kneazle versus flerken debate, but she could see that Dante was still feeling lost in all this nonsense that had become the X-Men. And she really started to parse things out in her overly-active mind and came to one conclusion.
"Hayley, we need to give them space," Syd said as she smiled at Dante. "As he said before, I am a Sydney. I think he's my best bud and Saturday morning cartoon companion, but that isn't my call. Having the two of us drama queens here might be making it worse. Too much stimuli. Too many thoughts and feelings making things much worse."
"In other words, my brand of crazy might be making things worse," Hayley said with a sigh as she shook her head. "And with Kari here, things might get a bit more complicated. One would think the floor of the ocean would be enough room..."
"See? Drama queen! You are not listening," Sydney said with a very protracted huff. "We attract all sorts of crap. Let D and Dante and Ray and Claire talk for a bit, OK? Unless that cat is Adrian, and I am making no bets there, peeps, we can go over there and give them a few minutes to talk. I am not sure what we can do to help on the Althena front, guys, but we will. I promise. Hell, I'll drag Piper here from Portland if I have to. Couldn't hurt."
"My family's resources are always available as well," Hayley said as she started to take a step back and stared again at the cat.
"Ah ha! You were thinking the same thing!" Sydney said before she turned back to Dante. "I know this is all over the map for you. I'll help no matter what. But my brand of cray cray might not be helping, and I know that. Your call. I can stay or go and wander back. How much trouble can I get into down here, right?"
Sydney then looked around and laughed. "Do not answer that. Anyone!"

Domino was surprised to see Jason and Lou that she leaped into a big group hug.. "We missed you too.." Deadpool then joined the group hug.. "Jasey and Luey I thought I lost you both forever!!!" Wade

and growled until she got Hollywood's attention..

child.. your nephew when you were gone.. He died!"JJ stood a few feet behind Rahne and felt her heart sink as she heard Wolfsbane speak about her son. She started to cry as she walked up closer to Rahne. "I am so, so sorry, Rahne," she blurted out. "I shouldn't have walked away when Lu left. I know we aren't full blood, but maybe I could have helped."
As she looked over at Lu, JJ shook her head. "Yeah, neither of us have been great about the staying in touch part. No excuse for it on my end. Better be a hell of a good reason on yours, sis. And none of that 'it was a secret mission' crapola. I can sorta accept why you ghosted me. We have never been super duper close, even when we first came to the X-Men. But leaving Rahne out in the cold? Not cool."

"Aw, f*ck this," John mumbled as he saw Sydney MacLeod in the distance. "All I need is her sister Piper showing up and making a right mess of things."
"Oh! Your Achilles heel is Piper MacLeod? Isn't that too delicious!" Lucian smirked as John got a bit flustered.
"No, but she wants to brain me with a large pan after I caused her a bit of grief. I'd like to keep my head on my shoulders, if it's all the same to you, you smarmy git. Now, do you want to see Kari, or is that too much for you at the moment?"
"You were the one warning us off," Lucian replied as John laughed. "Fine. But you are not her gatekeeper. Never were, even if you thought you were."
"And she isn't really your sister-in-law anymore either," John noted as he extinguished his cigarette. "Just seems wrong to smoke down here."

"I still feel out of place with everyone with my history so I will stay with you for now big brother." Vulcan said to Havok as
his relationship with the other X-Men were shaky. He hoped to fix it but at the moment he did not know how to do that.
"So let's get something to eat." Gabriel said as he looked over and saw the Professor and felt strange about it. He had a lot
of different feelings about Charles Xavier. Vulcan pushed those emotions back as he waved at the Professor who looked
surprised to see him. In a way the Professor's reaction was satisfying.

"I can not believe my eyes!" Yuna said as she stepped out of the portal and looked around X-Atlantis with complete utter amazement.
She walked over to one of the old marble ruin statues of an Atlantian female warrior. Her left arm was gone and some of the detale
of her armor was chipped away. She placed her hand on the face to feel it.
"This is beautiful!" She said as she turned to Domino, Psylocke and everyone that was around them.
Then something else caught her attention. "What smells so good?"

"That's Gambit's gumbo but that is also Bishop's cooking that is slowly being cooked for tomorrow. I smell his chicken and turkey
but we need to get some gumbo." Domino said as she put her hand over her stomach as the aroma caused her stomach to stir
a bit.

Beast's portal gate from the mansion to X-Atlantis opened a portal revealing both Sabretooth and Mystique walking through.
"Please tell me again why I allowed you to talk me into coming here when we both know we are not wanted here?" Creed said
as he looked all around. Everyone was giving them dirty looks as they walked by. Only Monet waved at him as she was one of
the few X-Men that he got along with.

Jean-Paul sat with Milo at Monet's family table which was pushed up against Nightcrawler's family table. Both families were now
connected and they all could be together.
Northstar was surprised to see Monet waving at Sabretooth. "I forgot that your mother is friends with Creed and that Mystique
is your uncle's mother so she is related to you. It's so hard to keep track of everyone's family." Jean Paul said to Milo as he dived
into his gumbo.
