Rose came out of Pixie's portal with Rockslide.
"From space to Atlantis what a change. Well a part of Atlantis." Dark Red took a moment to look around and saw a hammer head
shark being chased by a couple of dolphins.
"Oh that smells good we need to get in line Santo!" She said as she saw Rockslide turned towards the portal waiting for Ray and
Armor to come through.
"I am glad that we have this place for an option.. It would be nice to be able to spend more
time down here.. Maybe we can volunteer to help with the refugees in the future.. Something
to think about.."

Laura floated on down to Prodigy and the whole group when she heard David's question..
"When Logan was gone and we thought he was dead I took up his mantle and Logan wanted me to keep it
up and we both agreed that we both can be Wolverine.. It's a bit different but why not.."
"So the X-Men now have two Wolverine's. That is cool and I agree why not!" David said as he gave Laura a smile and a nod of his head.
"I really missed you a lot and I have been hearing things about a Gabby a clone your raising? Apparently I missed a lot." David laughed.
Laura.. Prodigy and Obsidian flew through the portal together and landed on the ground of
X-Atlantis together..
"Yes the program that I came from had clones of me and Gabby my little sister is now apart
of my life and the team.. I see her now in line for gumbo.." Laura said as she lead the way
over to Gabby standing in line chatting with Seth..
"Gabby this is my friend David.."

a big smile and closed her eyes and snapped her fingers twice as she was trying to think...

"I agree Mon Ami.. This dome is already full and what is going on in other countries to our people
is horrifying.. Rogue and I saw a report in Russia alone that was very upsetting..." Gambit responded
to Bishop as Rogue and him sat in front of their tent and ate their meal..
"There is a lot ahead of the X-Men for sure and it's not going to be easy when we go up against nations like Russia.."
"I like a good challenge." Rogue said as everyone chuckle because it was what they expected her to say.
"Not too long ago we were trapped on a alien planet created by Apocalypse and that is not all we had to face so Russia can bite me! I
saw those photos of mutants being taken from their homes. I do what it takes to get those people out of those camps!" Rogue said before
taking another bite.
"Maybe we can accomplish a lot more if we did not have to deal with our own people causing
more problems.. We need to focus on these crimes and save our people from governments
that want to hurt us.." Gambit continued..

But I have hope because of Magneto and even my grandmother Mystique becoming X-Men
is such a big step forward.. The jury is still out about Sabretooth though.. He still gives me
the creeps.." Lazuli responded to Gambit and then saw her parents arrive and waved at them..

"There is some problems.. The younger generations of Atlantians are okay with mutants and embrace this alliance
but the older generation are not all that comfortable with it and hate change so it's a sliding scale.. X-Atlantis
being separate from the mane city is a good thing.." Saber answered as he paused for a moment he felt Kwannon with
Betsy in the astral plane.. He hoped everything was going well..
"We are doing our best to change that but its a slow process. " A voice said as Soulfire the queen of Atlantis walked up to them "Meggan! Its good to see you again ." She said with a smile before hugging her cousin Saber " And always good to see you Saber."
"It's always good to see you my Queen." Saber said as he did a slight bow..
"Atlantis is at a generational change of progress it will take time.. Everything is changing.. Everything..
He said as he turned to see his wife Betsy came out of her trance with Alice and now Coraline beside her..

"Yes mom come join us." Everly said as Quentin and her sat down beside a small floor table with elven ruins carved
into the table. Omnia created it from her magick.
"I am so nervous about tomorrow in a good way. I love that we decided to get married down here, it's magical with
the ocean life around us." Everly said as she saw two mermaids swam on by above the dome.
"This wedding is going to be epic! Everyone is going to be talking about this in the years to come my love. Whatever The Professor is
going to announce and the holiday celebration it's going to be awesome." Quentin looked up and saw more Atlantians swimming past
the dome and looking down at them with curiosity.
"I can feel it in my soul that we are about to enter a new age. My mutant powers is connected to the cosmos and I feel
a new energy of change for all of us. Whatever the Professor is going to announce it's going to change everything my
gift makes me feel it in the air." Everly said as she took another bite of her gumbo..

Chetna looked at Ashvin and shook her head. "I am sure Kurt and his family have other things to take care of at the moment," she said very quietly as she waved toward their group, "and your voice isn't all that loud--even for a DJ who is used to loud music. Just wave for now, and we can make the rounds later."
"Fine. Just don't go being anti-social," Ashvin said as he rolled his eyes at his older sister before waving to Kurt's group. "And he did hear me, or he wouldn't have waved back. Do you want to get in the mammoth food line or go find more of the family?"
"Neither? I'd rather go swim outside the bubble if I were actually going to get to do something I wanted to do," Chetna replied as she prayed she would not bump into anyone, knock over their food or just generally get in the way. "All this togetherness is not what I like to do, and you know that."
"Which is why you never go to Ireland for the holidays. You always take work shifts or are off on field assignments. I know your tricks better than you do, Chet. Admit it. You are scared of this. Family. Friends. Being a mutant. Being a mystic. All of it," Ashvin said as his sister threw up her hands and muttered something in Hindi under her breath. "I touched a nerve. Finally!"
"And you are proud that you are annoying? Seriously?" Chetna asked in exasperation as her brother laughed. "You aren't 13 anymore."

Maggott and Chamber both left the disco space dome through Pixie's portal to X-Atlantis..
"That was so much fun Jono.. It has been a long time since I had this much fun.. Spending
time with my family in South Africa was not fun at all.. Lead to many problems so I made
my way back to the X-Men.. But I am still trying to find my footing as a lot has changed
since I have been gone.. This is the first time I felt good in a very long time.."

"And it is an honor to see you again, especially in your new home," Meggan said as she curtsied to Soulfire. "This is such a precious gift from you and the king," she added as she turned to look again at the beauty that surrounded them. "A true new beginning for the mutant community. I am sure that, with time, all of your people will come together in peace and harmony, mutant and Atlantean alike. I hope that later you can get to spend some time with us during the grand celebrations ahead. Maggie was very happy that she would be meeting the rulers of Atlantis during the gathering. She's with Brian right now..."
"Mummy! I told Papa we needed to come over here immediately," Maggie said as she practically pulled her father behind her. "Your majesty, it is an honor," the toddler said as she curtsied to Soulfire. "You are so lucky to live here. The fish outside the dome are so beautiful!"
Meggan smiled as she watched Maggie talking to Soulfire. "Maggie wants us to show her the lanternfish and viperfish later, isn't that right, Brian?"
"Your Majesty," Brian said as he bowed to Soulfire. "Our daughter is quite taken with X-Atlantis. I am sorry we missed the tour of the market some of the students and faculty took earlier. Saber was gracious enough to bring us here for the festivities tomorrow."

Kendra followed behind Jono and Japh as they made their way into X-Atlantis. "Sorry, guys, but the fam was doing my head in! I didn't mean to space out like I did. I'm glad you guys got to talk while I tried to get the rundown on who did what this time. I'm glad you made it back, Japh. It feels like everyone is coming home...shut the door."
As she stood there, Kendra saw two more of her siblings standing around looking more lost than they should have, but then again, was she the best example of fitting in all the time? "Two of my far flung sibs are here. Ashvin and Chetna. I'm starting to get one of those vibes again...I just pray I am wrong."
Kendra looked at Jono and Japh and took a deep breath. "Mind if I hang with you guys before I wade further into the Game of Thrones style drama that is Clan Mac? I smell gumbo, and that is enough reason not to get into drama just yet."

Soulfire couldn't help but smile as little Maggie and her father came over. "The honor is mine Maggie." She responded as she knelt down to Maggie's level and gave her a gentle hug. "It is a wonderful place and it brings me so much joy to be able to share it with everyone. " She said standing up again. "Perhaps when the festivities are over me and my daughter can take you all and anyone else who would like to come on a personal tour? She is still teaching me things about the history of Atlantis every time we go out." She said with a smile before adding. "When the king and I started discussing this stage of our new life I was and I'm still in awe of how much greater it became than in any of my dreams. " |
