"The detective part of me wants to put a team together right away and start an investigation into Forge." Bishop said to Lazuli
as they both drifted down into Atlantis holding hands. He was still primed for battle as the energy was still charging from the
small laser from the jellyfish.
"It's been a long while since I have been here." Bishop said to Lazuli as he used to come down once in a while when the X-Men
lived on Utopia. He knew some of the Atlantians and spoke the sign language that Namor had taught him.
She then saw something that caught her attention and quickly spun around until he was facing her..
(Close your eyes I see something that I want to buy you!) She said with excitement.. When Bishop closed his
eyes she grabbed something from the market and put it in a bag..
(I got you a gift for tonight!) |

Modem took the tech and looked it over. She hummed in thought, "I think I might be able to," she said pulling a cable from her suit. She slipped on a pair of AR glasses and looked at the coding that was being fed to them via bluetooth.
The tech would have to do her for the moment until she could work out something a bit better. She placed her hands as if they were on a keyboard and started typing at an amazing speed. Code flashed before her eyes. "Come back here you buggering ardvark," she hissed at something only she could see.
"When your done you have to have me show you around I have spent time here and have a few places
we can hang out at." He said to Modem as he had spent time in Atlantis when the X-Men lived on Utopia
and worked a lot with Namor back at that time..
If one were to watch what she was seeing behind her glasses they'd notice an orange tabby cat chasing what looked like a silver spider scuttling around on the ground. Off to one side was a black mouse in armor singing the winkies song from the Wizard of Oz. The cat rolled it's expressive eyes as it finally cornered the random bit of code. Like the feline the avatar was modeled off it played with the spiderish looking code before tearing it apart.
With the destruction of the code, Modem owned that particular node in the network. She would get a ping any time someone tried to access the node or even if another of the jellies came by and passed information on. She scripted out a bit of minor code that would make it look like the information was going out to others but it was well and truly ending with her.
She resurfaced to hear Bradley talking about showing her around Atlantis. She smiled and pulled off her glasses and unhooked herself from the downed drone. "I think that would be lovely," she returned leaning in and giving the older man a kiss on the cheek. |

"Well Luv let me take you to my favorite place to hang out in Atlantis!" Bradley said Modem took
his hand and they swam through the market to a more open part of the city.. They swam towards
what looked like a tower made of many different sea plants all spiraled together forming the tower..
The plants were multi colored Red..Blue and yellow.. As they approached they could feel the vibration
and hear tribal like music..
"They call this place the Kara' Rotha an Atlantian version of a nightclub!" Bradley said as they swam
inside.. The place was crowded with Atlantians dancing to a live tribal band playing.. Psychedelic lights
spun around from all directions..
"Would you like to dance?" Nemesis said as he moved into a floating dance pose..

Hayley watched as the students went into the market, but she stepped back as Sydney's voice got louder in her head, and Dante's as well.
"White wave? Incursion?" she asked herself before the words actually hit her.
Alucard is dead.
D, Kuja, Althena...the names tumbled out of Dante's mouth like some long lost Christmas card list.
But the ones she heard the loudest, the ones that hung over her like the darkest of clouds, were that Adrian was dead.
Hayley slumped against a rock as Sydney yelled in her mind that Dante was more or less in some sort of temporal turmoil and that what he had just said likely was not fully correct because the Goddess would have told her if it had happened. Sydney had never fully understood what it meant to be an avatar, and Hayley was glad the middle MacLeod sister had missed out on that sort of drama.
"Adrian is dead. Adrian is dead," is all Hayley kept muttering as she closed her eyes. "And the goodbye we had before he left is little comfort now."
Both Hayley and Adrian understood what it meant to place honor and duty before personal satisfaction and happiness. He left with Dante and D, and she had to attend to some familial nonsense, and that was the end of it. He never came home, and many in her family never truly understood why it mattered so much. Dana did, but she seemed to blink away just as fast.
"Wait. Moira vanished. Dana. And Nate Grey is fixing things," she said softly as she tried to reach out to Sydney once more. "Keep Dante talking. Please. It might make a difference."
Hayley moved away from the rock, wiping her eyes before returning to the rest of the team in the market. She looked at Logan and Paris and nodded to them. "I may need to leave for a bit. Something at the school may need my attention," she said to them before turning to look at Moira and Keiko. "If they can make it back, then the chances Adrian is not dead might hold water," she said to herself as she took a deep breath and prayed that her heart was right about this.
was saying and he then waved his arm over at Exodus..
"Hay Bub she may need a trip to the school or something.." He spouted out to Exodus..
over to her and held out his hand. |

"Thank you, gentlemen, but I will hold off for the moment," Hayley said as she looked at Old Man Logan and Paris. "One of my companions or his doppelganger, Dante Walker, seems to have appeared in the courtyard of the school, now relocated to Westchester thanks to Nate Grey. But Dante might have gone through a temporal storm of sorts, and he might be confusing realities at the moment. Sydney MacLeod, Dante's girlfriend, is with him at the school, and I am sure the fewer people jumping into his space would be better at the moment."
Hayley took a deep breath before continuing with her explanation. "Dante said my friend Adrian, the one I spoke of earlier, might be dead. But from what I saw and heard in our link, Nate seems to be fixing the timeline...for what that is worth at the moment. So I have no idea if Nate's work is making Dante a bit twitchy or if this is even our Dante. I let my emotions run away with me, which is something that happens where Adrian is concerned."
As she closed her eyes for a moment, Hayley could see Dante and Sydney, Nate, Xorn and Zan, the five young original X-Men and someone Kari mentioned by the name of Elda. Nate was indeed dealing with a temporal shift of some sort, and Dante, looking more like a cyborg than the man she knew, seemed calm for the moment.
"I'll keep my link to Sydney open and let you know if I need assistance," she said to Paris and Logan before trying to reach out to her missing sister Dana on a whim. There was no ripple in the family telepathic link. No yet, anyway. "We should probably try to keep up with the younger students. I am sure there are many things here in Atlantis for them to enjoy, and I'd like to see them as well."

BACK AT X-ATLANTIS DOME...
Gambit took a seat as he finished the stew for the staff and students to eat when they return
from their tour of Atlantis.. He had the stew simmering as he fished a stray french cigarette
and zippo lighter from one of his many hidden pockets of his coat..
Before he could he could light his cig he heard Beast's transport portal activate and jumped
up to see who was coming out of the portal and then he saw an old face that he had not seen
in a while.. Someone that became a close friend of his.. "Joeanna!?" He shouted as he saw
Frenzy stepped out of the portal dressed in a black leather coat and blue jeans and knee high
leather boots..

"Lebue it's so good to see you!" Joanna shouted back at Gambit once she stepped out of the
portal.. She had recently returned to the school earlier in the day from a long travel around
the world.. She had to take a break from things and just travel alone..
Frenzy took a moment and looked around at all the trees and old Atlantis greek like pillars..
buildings and statues.. But what really got her was looking up and seeing the ocean life outside
the dome.. She saw all kind of fishes.. A whale and two hammerhead sharks.. "Wild!" She said
to herself before walking up the hill and into Gambit's arms..
"It's so good to see you again.. I heard you and Rogue finally tied the knot.. It's about freakin
time!.. Seriously I am so happy for you both!."
"Are you hungry?.. Just finished a stew that Bishop and I created..
"Has anyone ever turned down anything food that the both of you did together ever?.. Give me some
of that!" She laughed as Gambit began to fix them both a bowel and began to catch up..

"Okay everyone.. I see all of you are splitting up to explore Atlantis.. The younger students
will stay with Exodus and Namor as they tour Atlantis.. I am giving everyone an hour and
we will meet up in front of the palace." Beast relayed over the com-line to everyone as he
floated down holding his wife Moira's hand.
"Part of me wants to head back to the mansion and try and figure out what had happen to
Forge and what does these jellyfish camera things mean?" Henry said to Moira once they
reached the bottom and stood in an Atlantian park with Atlatian children playing all around
them.. Some of them watching Beast and Moira as they played..

me a we bit nervous.. We still dealing with what Henry did by bringing the original five back and made them

now I am happy to be home. Sorry I missed your wedding Remy I bet Rogue was gorgeous as always." Joanna said as she enjoyed
the first two bites of the chillie.
"This is so good. It's so hard to have a really good homemade meal traveling. I just came from California and the fires in the West
Coast are out of control. Humans are determined to destroy our world it's really sad."

The table was in some sort of bubble.. "Much better Luv." He said as they sat down.. It was strange to go from the
lightness of being in the ocean and then the sudden weight of your own movements inside the bubble..
"So what is running around in that complicated mind of yours.. What do you think of the Professor's return from the
dead and the sudden push to this mysterious announcement of the future?" He asked as he was curious of her perspective.. |
