Elizabeth, aka Modem, had agreed to come on the underwater tour, only because Bradley had hunted her down and said that it would do her good to get out and meet some of the other students.
So that was how she found herself floating in a world of water, trying not to have a panic attack. As the eldest child of her mad cap family she'd been tasked with helping to take care of the younger siblings, and it gave her very little time to herself. Let alone the chance to learn how to swim.
Eyes a little too wide watched as a whale came close to her.
Once the ice cold water washed over his body it triggered his body to adapt to it's new environment.. The small
mask across his face turned into a full face mask once his whole head was under the water.. He reached out and
took Elizabeth's hand as her suit formed around her body.. Her suit was different then the ones that Beast had
made.. Modem had worked and created her own model based on McCoy's work..
"You okay luv?" Bradly asked her as he helped her to the back of the whale where everyone was gathering..

(There is something very magical about whales.) Bishop said in the mental link he shared with Lazuli. (This is not my first time riding a whale into Atlantis. I had
a few times visited the city with Namor when we lived on Utopia. The Atlantians use a form of sign language to speak under the ocean which I was able to learn
a few things.) Bishop closed his right hand into a fist with his thumb over the first finger and made a motion of the fist nodding. (This is the easiest one and this
how you say, YES.) He showed her.
(Can I see?) Lazuli said as she connected to Bishop with their mental link.. Bishop opened his mind to her
and she saw Lucas during his last visit to Atlantis with Namor.. She saw his whole experience with Namor
showing him and a few X-Men around.. She then learned the Atlantian sign language from his memory..
Telepath's were able to learn faster by tapping into what the persons understanding and making it their
own..

“I rather be here for sure!” Lin said to Trevor as they swam together holding hands until they reached
the whale. “She is happy to see us!” Nature Girl said with a smile as she connected with the whale.
Eye Boy and her sat with there legs crossed. Both of them positioned themselves with the barnacles
just right where they were in place. “I can feel so much life!” She said as all kinds of fishes swam circled
around her.
“It must be so cool to feel all the life in the ocean around you.” Trevor said as he watched the fish move around her. “Both of us came to the school after Utopia
experience that the others had gone through. So this Atlantis and mutant relationship is still a new thing to us.” EyeBoy said to Lin as they both looked over
off in the distance at New Atlantis which kind of looked like a mountain of lights from where they were. “I heard the others talk about it but now we get to see it
in person.”
"It's so beautiful!" She said as she gazed out at the city of Atlantis. There was a lot of heavy traffic of
Atlantians and a mermaids moving in and out of the city.. Some riding other whales and see creatures..
Some of the sea life were creatures she had never seen or heard of before.. It was shocking and exciting
to her.. "It's like a wonder land!" She said as she leaned into Trevor's arms..

"This is going to be so much fun!" Gabby said to Seth as the suit had an automatic come line to
to the person they were talking to.. Once the water filled the chamber she relaxed and let her body
drift in the water.. "This is so relaxing!" She said to Seth as she saw him swim up to her..
Seth floated up to Gabby and took a deep breath to calm his Witchblade down a bit. "I need to be more like you and relax a bit," he said to Gabby as he started to close his eyes and sense everything that was around him. He was not a mystic, and he sort of envied those who likely had a deeper connection with the world than he ever would. "This is amazing. I never dreamed we'd be seeing whales up close like this. And those fish were beautiful," he added as he looked toward the other students. "Everyone is having a great time."
As he floated, a few more fish came near Seth and Gabby. "Look, Gabby! Zebra fish!"
"This is like the coolest experience ever!" Gabby spouted back as she studied the different
fishes around her but it was the whale that really amazed her.. "I never knew that a whale
can get this big Seth!.. This whale is the size of a small town!" Gabby said as she looked
all the way down the back across all the students to the massive tail going up and down..
"How you doing?.. The Witchblade calmer?"

She settled herself on the back of the whale watching how the others did it. She was grateful that Bradley was with her for this part of the tour at least. It was also the one time she silently cursed her mutant ability, she could get most computer systems to bend over and take her domination of them, but hunting the internet and youtube for 'how to swim videos' had been a bust.
"Did you know that the internet can't teach you everything," she asked Bradley as he settled next to her keeping a tight hold of her hand. She promised herself that she wasn't going to read into that gesture, but she wouldn't deny the round of butterflies going off in her belly at his touch. |

Coralia, aka Nereid, was in her element as the water surrounded her.
Unlike the others she'd forgone the whole idea of a suit and was in a sarong skirt and a bikini top. Slowly as began to creep up her body she started to shift. Her legs seemed to fuse together, and grow more muscled. Her feet elongated and became the fins of her tail, that was as pink as her hair.
Once the water had reached over her head, three fine lines opened on either side of her neck, they were her gills. Her lungs filled with water and she closed her eyes in a moment of bliss. She was home in her mother ocean.
Coralia gave a powerful kick of her tail and went rocketing past the other students and for the surface. Just once she had to breech the surface and do a somersault, before slicing back beneath the waves and joining her companions. "Sorry," said sheepishly a faintly purplish blush staining her cheeks.

"Much better choice!" Hope said as she watched Nereid and copied her power and transformed into a
mermaid as well. She then joined Coralia in the swim before coming down and grabbing Goldballs
hand and pulled up and off the whale to join her..

"I'm not a swimmer!" Fabio yelled out to Hope as he was not too happy being pulled off of the
whale.. "This body is not made for the water!" He spouted out as he tried swimming back to
the whale but he was having trouble catching up..

She caught his comment about the popcorn and wrinkled her nose, "Yuck...I've never liked the taste of the microwave stuff. Give me oil and butter and a saucepan. That's real popcorn."
"You'd think we were bloody" She said stressing the word bloody, "Catholics with the way my parents procreated. But nope they are zealots that are part of this religious movement known as 'Quiver full'." |

Neried grinned at Hope when she saw that the young woman was copying her ability to change shape. "I find that I like it for the type of swimming we are doing right now."
She tilted her head to the side and watched Goldballs for a moment. "Stop trying to fight the current, Mother Ocean knows what she is doing and she won't harm you."

I mean, I can do it enough so I don't drown, but nothing fancy. Maybe now I'll be able to do it with things calming down for everyone."
Seth looked at the size of the whale and shook his head. "This whale is enormous. I have never seen a whale up close before. Dragons. Those I've seen. This makes the dragons back in Camelot look small. Maybe those were baby dragons?" he asked as he shrugged his shoulders. "I'll ask Malachi MacFeorais sometime. He raises them."
As Seth looked at Gabby, he was so glad she had come along on this adventure. "I'm glad you are here, Gabby. Thanks for making me feel welcome."

Paris said to Goldballs." Exodus was serious about what he had said to the young mutant. He was very exited about the future and
where his place was going to be in it all. Everything Paris wanted for his people was about to come true and so much more possibilities. |
