Jean was about to respond to Elda when Beast sent her all the information on the older Cyclops
passing and what Emma had done.. Jean buckled over in tears as Elda put her arms around Jean
to consul her.. She broadcast the news to everyone telepathically.. She then looked too Elda.. “Thank
you and I welcome you and your help during this time..” Without a word Jean Grey was made the de
facto leader of all the X-Men.. The division that separated the X-Men ended the moment Jean was
resurrected.. It was the one thing that all the X-Men agreed upon without a discussion.. Without Cyclops..
Storm.. Wolverine.. Kitty Pryde were Jeans top Lieutenants with Beast, Cable and Nightcrawler also rounding
out the command structure under her rule.. Magneto would also stand in a leadership roll but Jean was more
cautious about him then the others.. Jean stood up straight and took control of herself and wiped her tears..
“As Jubilee has said all students head to the cafeteria and get something to eat and then begin setting up the
camps!.. Everyone else please also join the students to the cafeteria and get a good meal before we start running!..
In two hours I will have a rescue team and a war team in the field!” She announced.. “In the meantime I will be in
the command room prepping!” She said before heading off with Firechild Storm and Kitty at her side to the command
and Med station..

“I will be there as soon as I can!” Logan responded to Storm as he took a moment to see if the
mystic field around the plateau and school was working or not.. The dragon off in the distance
was now swooping in and then it hit the field.. Multi colored energy crackled around the dragon
and then the field just pushed the dragon back as if down into the canyon below.. Logan smiled
and gave Magik and X-Coven the thumbs up before heading for the war room.. As he walked through
the school he got the message from Jean about Cyclops.. Even though Scott and him were always at
odds.. Logan still saw Cyclops as a brother and his death was very hard to take.. He then left to join
Storm and the others..

Blake made her way over to her extended family as Rose had wrapped her arms around Honey Badger and then spoke to Jimmy. She had become separated from the rest of her siblings during the fight but as the battle was over it was now a moment for her to be with them again."How are you doing sis?" She said to Gabby with a smile as she removed her cloak showing her face.

love to spend more time to get to know you.. Maybe you can join us in the cafeteria and grab a bite to eat.. Maybe we can
get other family at that table too..” Laura said as she looked over at Daken who rolled his eyes.. It looks like our brother Daken
will be joining us.” She smiled and winked at him as he looked angry.. She then waved at both Dark Red and Jimmy Hudson to
come join them.. |

Shatterstar sat down on a large rock facing Cable, Chroma and Dragonfly. “The bunker is like
every safe house and base we ever had as X-Force. Now X-Force is not independent but an
extension of the X-Men.” Star said as he held out his hand to Dragonfly as Conor passed him
the flask. Star took a swig and handed it to Domino as she came over and joined them.
have an X-Force reunion of sorts.. Again welcome back Conor!.. I do have to admit going into a war
with the inhumans I am glad that we have Dragonfly in the field!” Rictor then shook for a moment
when the dragon hit the mystic field and fell down into the canyon below..

“The mystic field works!” Spouted Tabitha as she joined the rest of the old X-Force group.
“I can totally sleep better tonight.. That is if we’re not in the field.. Which I think that we
will be.” Boom Boom stood beside Domino.. “I am looking forward to the trouble we are
about to cause.” Tabitha looked over at Domino and both ladies chuckled..

Both Cable and Dragonfly were then summoned to the command room by Storm to be apart
of the war council.. It was no surprise to Cable as he was waiting for it.. He was not too surprised
about Dragonfly either.. Both Jean and Storm would want his tactical experience.. “Conor and I will
be their soon!” He responded over the com before taking another swig from his flask.. He was trying
not to show too much feeling about the death of Cyclops his father.. But it was clear by the look on his
face that he was upset.. And even more anger knowing what Emma was doing with his body..

“Yeah we will be in the field by tomorrow!” Sam said as he showed up to round out the reunion..
“So why Cable and Conor do their thing we should join the students in the cafeteria for a bite.”
Cannonball said to the others as he felt overwhelmingly hungry. He then put his hand on Cable’s
shoulder.. “I am sorry about Cyclops.” Sam said in a caring tone as he felt like he was in shock
about the news and it had not sunk in yet..

"The Command Room? Am I in trouble already? That's gotta be a new record." Conor joked as he looked at Cable.
"You're gonna have to show me this bunker of yours. I'm betting it needs the ol Drag touch."
Conor tried to inject something into the conversation. He knew Cable well. He could read him. In a time like this it was best to keep distracted. Keep focused on work. Maybe.......
Conor looked at Domino, then over everyone else. "It really is good to be home." Conor smirked.
He stood up and looked back at Cable, "Well, what do you say pops? Shall we crash the party?"
Conor looked over at Domino. "Get ready to bounce. Something tells me we aren't going to have any down time soon.
Let's get ready for a bit of the, Ultra-Violence." Conor smirked again.
To anyone listening. It just sounded like good old X-Force talking smack.
But Domino knew Conor's code-speak

Reagan poked Daken in the side, "Just do it my love, it will be far better than having Gabby pester you for the rest of the night." she said knowing that the young girl wouldn't hesitate to get on her older brother's last nerve if it meant getting her way about something.
The news of Cyclops's passing and the imminent birth of a new x-child to the fold caused Reagan's eyes to go blank before she spoke. "With life comes death, and from death comes rebirth with the spark of life held with in." As the moment passed the newly changed Reagan sagged next into Daken's chest as he'd turned to watch her.

Jimmy reached out and took a hold of Lady Deadpool’s hand as Rose talked to him. “I feel very
lucky to have found this alternate world where my family is still alive. I now have a chance of a
new start and I found myself falling in love with Wanda during this journey that lead me here.”
Jimmy said to Rose as he looked over at Lady Deadpool and smiled. “I am really looking forward
to getting to know you and the rest of the family. Wanda and I are going to go inside and grab us
some food and a table. I hope you and the others will join us.” Jimmy leaned over and gave Dark
Red a hug and a kiss on the cheek. “Talk to you soon I hope.” He said as Wanda and him left for
the cafeteria.

Duskk said to Monet as he put his arm around her.. He gazed over to Pixie knowing that he had
to have a conversation with her once their mothers are sisters and they are cousins.. “I am happy
with whenever you want to do the wedding my darling.” He said to her as they both overheard
Deadpool as he swooped in on Duskk.. Monet rolled her eyes as Duskk looked shocked by what he
was saying at first and then just laughed.. “I am sure it will be the most epic bachelor party ever!”
He padded Deadpool on the shoulder as he made his way to Pixie and began to explain to her about
their mothers.. The new information he gave her made her squeal in excitement and she leaped into
his arms in a hug.. Like him she was so happy to have family in her life. They were also in the X-Coven
and started to connect their magic as they both chose to dance on the sigils below their feet.. Duskk
was allowing the mystic energy flow through his body in the style of belly dancing..
I am not hitting on you.” She said as she waved at Monet. Monet waved back as they became friends and Monet knew
she was not trying him on her man. Dazzler was a very affectionate person and outgoing. “But you are hot as hell and
Monet is a lucky woman to have you. I just wanted to say you have some hot moves and you need to join Pixie on my
stage when I perform. We need fun outside of being a member of the X-Men. “So why don’t you grab your beautiful family
and join me at a table in the cafeteria where I promise to keep hounding you until you say yes.” She winked at him before
she walked off in the direction of the school. |

Bobby was in utter shock about Scott’s death. He stood looking out at the mountains in the distance. This
was a strange place with a redish pink sky with no sun. It was very hot which he hated but was not complaining.
“I get Jean and Logan back and lose Scott.” Iceman said in a defeated voice as his lover Duncan put his arm around
him. “I am so tired of losing people I care about.”

(I would love that very much.) Warren said in the mental link between him and Alicia. He watched
in awe as the green fire came up out of the ground and formed into the school. Warren looked over
and saw that Alicia was about to pass out so he flapped his wings and launched himself over to her.
He caught her in his arms before she could reach the ground. “I got you.” He said as he looked down
at her with a smile. As she looked up she saw his blue skin turn back into human shade and his golden
blond hair appeared. He was no longer Archangel and back to his Angel form. “How are you feeling?"
Persha in his arms to the school. “So you should have a bite with me and get your energy back up before all Hell
breaks loose again.” Warren said as he sat her down on her feet and took her hand and walked with her to the Cafeteria.TBC Cafeteria thread |
