The fiery being was taken back for a moment by the sudden mental contact. As she reached out to Jean she felt something familiar about her. ("Mother?.....You are not her but yet I feel as if she is one with you.....") She responded as she headed for Muir all the while continuing the conversation as she sensed the turmoil going on at Muir and headed straight for it. The woman had asked her who she was and it would be wrong not to answer the woman. ("I am the child of the celestial one and the father of Asgard....I am the firechild.")
As she finished the horizon over Muir Island lit up in fiery colors as she approached.
{"Yes the being known as Phoenix is my mother....Now again who are you?"} Firechild finished.My name is Bennu but my real name is Michelle....Michelle Grey Proudstar and this is my daughter Crystal also known as Soulfire. The person you are speaking to is my mother Jean and yes she is connected to your mother....Its complicated and there will be time to discuss everything but for now would you be willing to help our people? Then I promise we can sit down and talk?"} Bennu finished as the being nodded.
{"Yes I will help you.....But I must know more when the time arises.......And as you've been so forthcoming you may call me EL if you wish."} She said as the three headed back down to the ground with the rest of the team. |

"I will show you all!" Jean said as she connected to Firechild mentally.. Once their minds connected Jean
showed Firechild her whole life.. All her deaths and rebirths and everything in between.. At the same time
Jean saw bits of who El was.. Jean then connected with Michelle and Crystal and brought them in on the mental
share of information..

The much older Logan and Ghost were about to join the rest of the Weapon- X team until they
heard Archangel news on the sentinels. “There has to be that one thing to make things more difficult
then it should.” Old Logan said to Ghost as he stopped his movement and stood looking up at the sky
for the sentinels. All he could see was heavy clouds which was normal for this part of the world. “Well
Bub are you ready to fight some ten cans?”
the heavy hitters hold grown!” Ghost said as they hurried towards the portal but soon noticed that Old Man Logan
stopped. “What’s going on?!” Genn said as he went back to where he was. “Your not thinking of fighting those? We
have people that could do a better job!” Ghost tried to reason with him.
Madrox in his arms with Honey Badger and his other kids out of the facility.. "I needed to see if my kids got out!" He
finally answered and then a sudden explosion of light blinded Old Man Logan and the ground shook hard as one of the
ten Sentinels teleported to the ground.. The Sentinel unleashed a massive blast at the group of X-Men.. Old Man felt the
massive heat and then pain to his right hand as the blast disintegrated the hand and the adamantium completely.. He
would of died if it was not for Ghost grabbing him and phasing him just in time.. Ghost floated them both in the air like
a balloon..

It was pure instinct.. The sudden explosion of light.. Cable brought his telekinetic field around him and
everyone that was close to him.. Once the light ended and Cable could see that it was a sentinel that
ported in and blasted the area Cable flipped the power level of his particle rifle to ten and started to
unload on the Sentinel.. Cable held his place and kept firing at the sentinel none stop.. The Sentinel's
force field was protecting it from Cable's blast but the Sentinel began to slide across the ground away
from the portal by Cable's telekinesis..

"That is what I love about you Nate!.. Your such a bad ass mother fracker!" Deadpool spouted out
as he watched the giant sentinel slide across the ground past him.. Wade turned the level up to
ten of his particle rifle and joined in firing at the sentinel from the side.. "This thing has a frackin
shield system!.. Not cool at all!.. "Hay Bolts for brains this was supposed to be the great homecoming
scene in the movie when all the heroes get home and reflect on their lives and such and I can not
reflect on my feelings because of you!.. I mean I just survived space and Apocalypse and these bird
people from the Dark Crystals and Tricity!.. She came back to the board just to leave again fracking
with Kevin's head again.. Then there was this other player who pretending be someone new when
they were secretly Epiphany from the old board who vanished when they promise they were staying..
Also I have new girlfriend so I have a lot of reflecting to do.. So go away!... Oh and Dragonfly is back
and we have some serious things to talk about and I can not because of your ugly self!"

"Bohze Moi!" The blast from the sentinel knocked Him and Suprema to the ground.. Dana was
able to form an armor mask around her face just in time of the blast.. Shadowcat phased herself
and Magik just as the whole area was blasted.. Both Suprema and Colossus's organic armor was
glowing with smoke flowing off of the hot metal.. "Yana !?..Dana!?.. Katya!?" Piotr called out to them..
Kitty was first to say she and Magik were okay while Suprema gave the thumbs up without speaking..
She was still trying to shake off the impact of the blast.. The ground underneath them was black with
more smoke.. The portal was still up thanks to Shadowcat phasing Magik and herself in time..

Saber and Psylocke together created a telekinetic field above them to shield the area
but the ground shook so hard that they fell to the ground.. When the blast ended they
heard Havok screaming.. Saber looked over and saw half of Havok's body was on fire..
"UNCLE!" Saber shouted out as he unleashed a blast of darkforce to put out the fire
and it did.. The older Cyclops was laying on the ground and not moving.. Saber flew
as fast as he could to get to his father while Psylocke hurried to Havok.. The blast
sent Older Cyclops flying back across the field.. "FATHER!?.." Saber checked for a pulse
and got one to his relief.. Saber scooped him up into his arms.. "We need to get them
back!" Saber called out to his wife..

Conor had been studying the screens very carefully. "Bring us in on a heading of mark 271," Based on the direction of the Sentinel's approach. Conor wanted to create a protective line to engage the Sentinel's and give everybody on the ground a direction to fall back to and get the hell out of there. Conor had been studying the new weapons on the Blackbird as well. From the command chair he cycled the appropriate weapons for an initial strike. ....... "Light 'em Up!" He said as the Blackbird streaked in. "Then get me on the ground!" Conor unstrapped from his chair, and pointed to the screen, "This is your vector team. Let's create a picket line and keep these tin cans from advancing. Don't hold back." Conor moved to the back of the bird and got ready to drop the main ramp. "Let's do this."
missiles launched from the jet. "We have some new toys from Forge!" Hope handed a black disk the size of a tire off of a
car. "You can use it two ways if you like. The way it's made is to slap it against your back." Hope slaps the disk against
Dragonfly's back. The disk connects and forms against his body. "Like a jet pack and moves with your body." Hope then
grabs a mini rail gun that was twice her size and another disk. She tossed the disk to the ground and jumped on it. Once
she jumped on the disk activated and hovered off of the ground. "Or you can use it like a hover board which really pisses
Forge off." She laughed as she shot out of the blackbird. The heavy wind hit Hope hard and almost flew off the disk. She
was glad that she stayed on as it would of been super embarrassing after her speech about the disks. Hope shifted the
weight of her rifle a bit and found a nice wave of wind and began to ride like a wave.
for the sentinel.. Cannonball saw both Cable and Deadpool blasting away at the sentinel and Cable pushing it back.. The
force field was holding very well against the blasts.. But showed it moving side to side with each cross blast.. Sam aimed
himself for the head.. Cannonball hit the field around the sentinel with enough force that the sentinel was knocked off of
it's feet.. It fell backwards hitting the ground.. The Sentinel was now on it's back.. |

"Time to move out!" Gabby announced as she watched Daken again run over and scoop up the
living Madrox into his arms. Reagan, Dark Red and herself stayed close to Daken with X-23 and
Sid fallowed behind. Honey Badger became a little disorientated at first when she stepped back
outside. When she went in the outside was a bit dumpy and gray and now it was so dark out as
if it was nighttime. The sky was nothing but black clouds with lot of lightning and thunder. It was
a shocking site to see. The wind was so strong that she was stopped in her tracks. Everyone
struggled to move forward. "I think this is what you get when you have two Storm's on the team!"
She said as they headed in the direction of the portal.

Domino was the first to began to fire upon the sentinel once it appeared. She had looked down
when the bright light blinded everyone but not her. “Damn it!” Domino was disappointed that her
weapon was not causing any damage with it’s force field. Her custom armor piecing rounds would
of made some serious damage to it. “Conor is back!?” Domino found herself saying when she listened
to Deadpool’s ranting. As Cable did his thing and pushed the sentinel back she looked up and saw
Dragonfly and the others leaving the blackbird. “Nate! It looks like we’re putting the band back together!”
Domino yelled out to Cable.

Shatterstar slapped the disk on his back. It formed around the sheathes of his swords. He then
let out a battle cry as he ran as fast as he could and dived out of the blackbird and raced to get
to the bottom. He flew past everyone as he did not activate his thrusters just yet. Only Cannonball
speed past him and slammed into the sentinels head and took it down. “That a boy!” Star said to himself
as he activated his jet pack at the last minute and landed on top of the sentinel. The force field was still
working as he stood onto it. Energy crackling against the souls of his boots. Shatterstar let out another battle
cry as he plunged his blades down onto the killing machine. The alien metal of his blades broke through the
field causing massive amounts of sparks. The tips of his blades punctured the sentinels chest plate.

Dani landed on the ground and aimed her mystic bow at the Sentinel. She pulled back on the string
and a arrow formed. Moonstar sent it flying at the machine and quickly sent a second one. Both hit
causing big explosions at the side of it’s force field. “We thought you may of needed some back up!”
She gave everyone a wink before sending more arrows at the sentinel.

“We’re going to make a run for it! Jump on my back!” Bishop said to Lazuli and she did. As much as
he wanted to stay and fight he knew that they had to fallow Cyclops orders. “Hang on!” Bishop and
Terra headed and then leaped successfully through the portal.

“I have not seen Dragonfly since the early 70’s when we were still brainwashed Weapon-X agents!
It’s been so long we’re like strangers now!” Jackson laughed as he blasted the sentinel with his pulse
rifle. Lady Deadpool and him stood at the side of the portal and was ready to run through when they
needed. For the moment they were covering everyone that was making it through.

EL's attention was turned however to the sentinels as she shifted for the first time since arriving here to her physical form as the fiery being that was before them became a woman with long flowing red hair and a chain mail style outfit. She turned generating a massive psionic blast and threw it at one of the sentinels as the force field held up against it but the sentinel budged slightly.{"Jean, Michelle, Crystal we will have to continue this discussion later once the danger has been dealt with."} She said as Michelle joined her mother while Soulfire flew over towards her husband but Michelle did have one thing to ad as she spoke with Jean. {"She looks similar to you mom in a lot of ways. I guess the Phoenix is a redhead after all."} She joked before slashing at one of the sentinels with a fiery wing. |
